Iso-8
The Thing is versatile and can be assigned any Iso-8 class, but opting for the Raider Iso-8 class is particularly beneficial. This choice enhances his critical hit chance, which synergizes well with his Special ability that strikes an opponent five times, ultimately boosting his overall damage output.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
B – Basic ability
Passive – The Thing will deal 275% Piercing damage when he retaliates against opponents who have attacked him or any Fantastic Four or New Avenger ally, an increase from the previous 225% Piercing damage. Enhancements to passive damage are always a welcome improvement.
Ultimate – Inflict increased damage when upgraded to the maximum level. If the primary target has Safeguard or is a Minion, the attack will receive a +100% Critical Hit Chance, guaranteeing a critical hit. Additionally, if The Thing kills the target with his Ultimate, he will apply Immunity and Speed Up to himself and all Fantastic Four allies. This is an effective strategy for dealing increased damage to targets immune to clearing positive effects or Minions, and it also enhances the entire team if The Thing secures a kill with his Ultimate.
Special – He will deal an extra +20% damage with each of his hits. This may seem minimal for a single hit, but since The Thing strikes the target five times, this results in an overall +100% additional damage. Furthermore, each of these five hits has a chance to be a critical hit, increasing the total damage substantially. Given that The Thing has excellent stats and high Damage, it is advisable to max out his Special for optimal damage output.

About Character
The Thing, also known as Benjamin “Ben” Grimm, is one of the most classic characters in the Marvel Universe. He is a founding member of the Fantastic Four, Marvel’s first superhero team. Ben Grimm was once a skilled pilot and astronaut who found himself forever changed after an experimental space mission exposed him and his teammates to cosmic rays. While his friends gained extraordinary powers, Ben’s transformation was the most dramatic—his body turned into a rocky, orange, superhuman form, granting him immense strength, durability, and endurance.
Despite his gruff exterior and sometimes short temper, The Thing is known for his big heart, loyalty, and sense of humor. His signature catchphrase, “It’s clobberin’ time!” has become synonymous with his readiness to take on any challenge or threat. Beneath his tough appearance lies a man who struggles with his altered form but continues to fight for justice and protect those he cares about.
Over the years, The Thing has been a key figure in countless Marvel storylines, battling villains like Doctor Doom, Galactus, and Mole Man alongside his Fantastic Four teammates—Mr. Fantastic, the Invisible Woman, and the Human Torch. His friendship with Johnny Storm (the Human Torch) is often filled with playful banter and pranks, adding a lighthearted dynamic to their adventures.
The Thing’s journey is not just about superhero battles but also about acceptance and self-discovery. Despite feeling like an outcast at times due to his appearance, Ben Grimm remains a symbol of resilience and inner strength. He has proven time and again that being a hero isn’t about looks—it’s about courage, kindness, and standing up for what’s right.
The Thing is a Brawler capable of delivering massive single-target damage while also possessing a degree of control. His Ultimate ability, which can apply Stun, Disrupt, and Trauma to a target, is one of the strongest forms of crowd control. Additionally, he can counter enemy attacks – specifically, whenever an opponent attacks him or any member of the Fantastic Four (MCU) characters, if The Thing is not Ability Blocked, he will retaliate against that opponent with solid Piercing damage.
