Iso-8

Blue Marvel is an excellent Striker because his Iso-8 attack reduces the target’s maximum Health equal to the damage done with it (unhealable damage in other words). He can also be a great Raider, as both his Special and Ultimate abilities hit multiple enemies. In addition, Blue Marvel has passive attacks that trigger when an ally is defeated or becomes Empowered, making Raider an outstanding class choice for him.

Besides these two, he can also function as a Healer, which further boosts his self-healing capabilities. Depending on the situation and the Iso-8 choices of his allies, you can mix and match these three classes for Blue Marvel to maximize his effectiveness at any given moment.

Experimenting with these combinations allows you to adapt Blue Marvel to your team’s needs and the challenges you face in battle.

T4 Priority

P – Passive ability

U – Ultimate ability

S – Special ability

B – Basic ability

Passive On Spawn while on Defense, if any enemy has Charged, Blue Marvel immediately fills his Speed Bar by 50%, allowing him to play much faster right from the beginning of battle (not if enemies prevent Speed Bar increase). At the end of every enemy turn, he reduces all negative effects on himself by 2. If any negative effects are cleared this way, he heals himself for 10% of his Max Health per effect removed.

This upgrade is truly essential, as it greatly increases Blue Marvel’s value on Defense while also giving him remarkable sustain whether he’s attacking or defending. His survivability is dramatically improved, and his overall effectiveness soars since he can cleanse his own debuffs every time an enemy finishes their turn. In practice, this acts as a built-in anti-Trauma mechanic, letting Blue Marvel rid himself of negative effects regardless of what’s happening on the battlefield.

With this upgrade, Blue Marvel becomes even more resilient, constantly shaking off debuffs and keeping himself healthy and ready to lead his team to victory.

Ultimate, Special, and Basic Not only deals greater damage, but it also reduces the duration of Safeguard and Immunity by 2 on both the primary and adjacent targets. This makes it an outstanding upgrade, as it allows Blue Marvel to expose enemies to debuffs even if they have protective effects active before he strikes.

With these protections shortened, Blue Marvel and his allies can inflict crucial negative effects on opponents who might otherwise be shielded. This ability to break through layers of defense makes Blue Marvel much more effective at disrupting enemy teams and controlling the flow of battle.

The upgrade is identical for both the Special and Ultimate abilities, reducing the duration of Safeguard and Immunity by 2 on primary and adjacent targets. The Basic attack receives a very similar upgrade, but with one key difference: it only reduces the duration of Safeguard, not Immunity.

About Character

Blue Marvel, whose real name is Adam Bernard Brashear, is an iconic superhero from the Marvel Universe. He is known for his incredible strength, intelligence, and compelling backstory, which touches on themes of heroism, racial identity, and societal challenges.

Adam Brashear was a brilliant scientist and former Marine who gained his powers through an experiment involving anti-matter. During the experiment, he was exposed to radiation from the Negative Zone, granting him superhuman abilities. As the Blue Marvel, he possesses immense strength, durability, flight, energy manipulation, and advanced intellect, making him one of the most powerful heroes in the Marvel Universe.

Set in the 1960s during a time of racial tension in America, Adam initially operated as a masked hero to protect his identity. However, when his mask was damaged during a battle, revealing that he was African American, public reaction was mixed. Despite his heroic deeds, societal prejudice led to pressure for him to retire as a superhero. Adam reluctantly stepped away from his role as Blue Marvel but continued to contribute to science and humanity in other ways.

Years later, Blue Marvel returned to action when his unique abilities were needed to combat cosmic threats. He joined forces with other heroes and became a member of teams like the Mighty Avengers and the Ultimates. His character is celebrated for addressing complex issues while showcasing the resilience and strength of a hero who fights for justice and equality.

Blue Marvel’s story is not just one of superheroics but also of perseverance and hope in the face of adversity. He remains an inspiring figure within the Marvel Universe, representing both the power of science and the importance of standing up for what is right.

Blue Marvel is a true plug-and-play powerhouse whose strength shines across every game mode. While he excels at leading the charge on Offense, he’s also a defensive juggernaut, turning his team into an antimatter-fueled wall that’s tough for any opponent to break through.

One of Blue Marvel’s most impressive traits is that all his attacks ignore Defense Up and shorten the duration of Safeguard and Immunity on his enemies. Both his Basic attack and his Passive reduce the Max Health of targets, delivering unhealable damage. His Special can’t be Blocked or Dodged, while his Ultimate is completely Unavoidable, ensuring his impact is always felt on the battlefield.

Blue Marvel grows stronger with every turn taken by both him and his opponents. Each time Blue Marvel takes a turn, he gains extra Damage and Resistance, stacking up to +75%. At the end of an enemy’s turn, he gains Speed and Armor, up to a maximum of +80%. This makes him increasingly dangerous as the fight progresses.

On Defense, Blue Marvel becomes even trickier to deal with. His Special targets the enemy with the lowest Speed Bar, ignoring both Taunt and Stealth. If any enemy is Charged, his Ultimate transforms into an attack that hits all foes, and when the battle starts, he gains Speed Bar if an enemy is already Charged. These unique mechanics make him seem nearly indestructible to opponents.

Sustainability is another of Blue Marvel’s strengths. He heals and gains Barrier every turn, making him difficult to eliminate, and he also heals himself for each negative effect he clears after his enemies take their turns.

With a toolkit that brings value to any team, Blue Marvel is a hero you can rely on for both offense and defense—constantly adapting, enduring, and overwhelming his foes.

Blue Marvel’s Basic ability brings both power and utility to the battlefield. When used, it reduces the duration of Safeguard on the primary target by 2 turns, making it easier for his team to apply negative effects and disable protections.

He then attacks the primary target for 300% Piercing damage and flips 3 random positive effects into negatives. What sets this attack apart is that the damage dealt also reduces the target’s Max Health by the same amount—a punishing effect that makes recovery much more difficult for his foes.

On Defense, Blue Marvel’s Basic becomes even more strategic. Instead of hitting the primary target, it seeks out the enemy with the highest Max Health, ignoring both Taunt and Stealth—no one can hide from his precision strike.

This attack also ignores Defense Up, ensuring full damage, and it cannot be blocked, guaranteeing that his blow will always land with devastating impact.

When Blue Marvel performs an Iso-8 attack / Counterattack / Assist, he unleashes a powerful strike that does more than just damage. He attacks the target for 225% Piercing damage, plus an additional 17% Piercing, ensuring his blow cuts through defenses. Along with the raw damage, he flips 3 random positive effects on the enemy, turning their advantages into potential weaknesses.

What truly sets this attack apart is that the total damage also reduces the target’s Max Health by the same amount, making it unhealable damage. This attack always hits at full force, ignoring Defense Up, and cannot be blocked—so nothing stands in Blue Marvel’s way.

Special ability is packed with utility and power, and it’s ready to use right from Blue Marvel’s first turn with a cost of just 4 Ability Energy. When activated, Blue Marvel gains Offense Up for 2 turns, boosting his damage output significantly.

He then reduces the duration of Safeguard and Immunity by 2 turns on the primary and adjacent targets, and applies Slow to primary and adjacent targets for 2 turns, making them easier to control and defeat because they will take more time to play. Next, he applies the opposite of all his current positive effects onto the primary target, turning his own buffs into a weapon against his enemies.

Blue Marvel then attacks the primary and adjacent targets for 380% Piercing damage, plus deals bonus damage equal to 5% of his own Max Health. This makes the attack hit especially hard against tough opponents. After the attack, all negative effects from the primary target are transferred to each adjacent enemy, spreading debuffs and further weakening the opposition.

On Defense, Blue Marvel’s Special becomes even more tactical—it targets the enemy with the lowest Speed Bar, ignoring Taunt and Stealth.

Importantly, this attack ignores Defense Up and cannot be blocked or dodged, guaranteeing its impact regardless of enemy defenses.

Blue Marvel’s Ultimate is a devastating move that’s ready to go on his very first turn, costing 6 Ability Energy. When activated, it reduces the duration of Safeguard and Immunity on the primary and adjacent targets by 2 turns and applies Defense Down to them for 2 turns, making them much more vulnerable to follow-up attacks.

He then attacks the primary and adjacent targets for a massive 400% Piercing damage, flips all positive effects on each target, and applies both Disrupted and Trauma for 2 turns. This cripples the enemy’s ability to gain benefits and makes them susceptible to further debuffs.

If any of the targets have Charged, Blue Marvel’s Ultimate flips that status into Bleed, causing additional ongoing damage. On Defense, if any enemy has Charged, this attack becomes even more fearsome by targeting all enemies instead of just the primary and adjacent ones.

This attack ignores Defense Up, is Unavoidable, and cannot be Blocked, ensuring that its effects always land. With its combination of high damage and debilitating debuffs, Blue Marvel’s Ultimate is a true hard-hitting ability with a destructive impact on enemies.

Passive ability is a powerhouse of sustain and retaliation, providing Blue Marvel with impressive durability and offensive potential right from the start of battle. On Spawn, he immediately gains Defense Up for 2 turns, creates a Barrier equal to 30% of his Max Health, and, if he’s on Defense and any enemy has Charged, he fills his Speed Bar by 50%, letting him play even faster.

On each of his turns, Blue Marvel heals himself for 20% of his Max Health and gains an additional Barrier equal to 15% of his Max Health. He also ramps up his power, gaining +15% Damage and +15% Resistance per turn, stacking up to +75%.

At the end of every enemy turn, Blue Marvel reduces all negative effects on himself by 2. For each effect cleared, he heals for 5% of his Max Health, making him difficult to keep down. He also gains +20% Speed and +20% Armor per enemy turn, up to a maximum of +80%.

Whenever an enemy defeats one of his allies or, if Blue Marvel is on Defense and the enemy becomes Empowered, he launches an automatic attack for 300% Piercing. This retaliatory strike ignores Defense Up, is Unavoidable, and reduces the enemy’s Max Health by the damage dealt, making it a formidable deterrent.

Until Blue Marvel completes a turn, he cannot be Stunned, giving him extra protection at battle’s start. Additionally, the Speed and Focus of Blue Marvel and his allies can only be lowered by negative effects, not by enemy abilities or Passives. To top it off, he gets +25% Max Barrier and +25% Drain, boosting both his defenses and his ability to heal from the damage he deals.

All these effects combine to make Blue Marvel incredibly resilient, dangerous to foes who take down his allies, and a keystone of any team’s lineup.
