Iso-8
Maestro is best used as a Raider because all of his attacks—even his Basic (if any enemy has 3 Wrath)—can hit multiple enemies. This maximizes his potential damage output and makes him more effective overall. He’s also a solid choice for Striker, since his Iso-8 attack clears two positive effects from the primary target.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
B – Basic ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
Passive – When his Passive is maxed out, Maestro gains two powerful upgrades. First, he spawns with a Barrier equal to 30% of his Maximum Health, providing him with immediate protection from the start of the fight. Second, as long as his Health remains above 50%, he gains an additional +50% Damage Reduction on top of his existing passive bonuses. Together, these two upgrades provide Maestro with much-needed mitigation, ensuring he can survive long enough to take his turn even when facing a wave of fast-moving enemies.
Basic – Maxing out the Basic Attack adds some extra damage, but more importantly, it grants Maestro a crucial improvement. The first time Maestro uses his Basic Attack while any enemy has 3 Wrath, he reduces the duration of Safeguard by 2 on all enemies.
This is an excellent addition to his existing kit, because Maestro’s Basic already excels at removing Buffs from enemies — but only if those enemies don’t have Safeguard protecting them. With this upgrade, he can first strip Safeguard from all enemies, then follow up by clearing their remaining Buffs on subsequent turns. A clean and efficient sequence that makes him significantly more threatening in the right matchups.
Special – Maxing out the Special increases Maestro’s damage output and, more importantly, upgrades his Buff-flipping capability. Instead of flipping just 1 positive effect, he now flips all positive effects into negative ones on both the primary target and adjacent enemies.
This is an excellent upgrade that significantly improves his control over the fight. Being able to flip all Buffs at once — and on multiple targets — means Maestro can quickly weaken entire groups of enemies, turning their strengths against them and making them far easier to deal with.
Ultimate – At max level, Maestro’s Ultimate receives several powerful upgrades. It now deals increased damage to all enemies, clears Barrier from all enemies, and after executing the attack, Maestro Buffs himself with both Speed Up and Safeguard for 2 turns.
The self-Buffs serve a dual purpose — Safeguard protects his own Buffs from being stripped or flipped, while Speed Up allows him to take his next turn sooner, keeping up the pressure. On top of that, stripping Barrier from all enemies is a significant damage enabler, as it removes one of the most common sources of mitigation in the game, making the entire enemy team much more vulnerable to follow-up attacks from Maestro and his allies.

About Character
Maestro is one of the most intriguing villains in the Marvel Universe, originating as an alternate future version of Bruce Banner, better known as the Hulk. In this dystopian future, the world has been devastated by nuclear war, wiping out most of humanity and leaving only the strongest to survive.
Unlike the classic Hulk, Maestro combines all the brute strength of the Hulk with the full intellect, cunning, and memory of Bruce Banner. Years of exposure to radiation have only made him physically stronger, and the harsh conditions of his world have hardened his personality. He is far more ruthless, manipulative, and power-hungry than his younger self. Instead of fighting for justice, Maestro rules the remnants of the world as a tyrant from his city of Dystopia, surrounded by the trophies of fallen heroes and villains.
Maestro’s character is fascinating because he represents what happens when a hero loses his way and becomes corrupted by power and despair. He’s not just a mindless brute—he is strategic, calculating, and often several steps ahead of his enemies. His intelligence allows him to outmaneuver opponents who might otherwise match his strength, and his lack of moral restraint means he will do whatever it takes to maintain his rule.
Overall, Maestro stands as a powerful warning of how absolute power can corrupt even the greatest heroes, turning them into the very threats they once fought against. His stories challenge readers and players to consider the importance of morality, self-control, and the consequences of unchecked ambition.
In Marvel Strike Force, Maestro is a Brawler capable of dealing massive damage to his opponents, while also removing positive effects from them, applying debuffs to enemies, and utilizing a unique Wrath mechanic.
Maestro’s Wrath mechanic sets him apart: when Maestro is attacked, he applies Wrath to any enemy who already has a stack of Wrath. If no enemies have Wrath at that moment, he applies it to the character who attacked him. Once an enemy reaches 3 stacks of Wrath (usually after three attacks on Maestro), his Basic attack can target all enemies, reduce the duration of Safeguard, clear 2 positive effects, and apply 2 Bleed for 2 turns. This powerful effect can only be triggered once per match.
Beyond his incredible damage potential, Maestro also boasts exceptional mitigation. Although he cannot gain Defense Up or Minor Defense Up, as long as his Health is above 50%, he benefits from +50% Damage Reduction, +50% Focus, and +50% Resistance. This makes him extremely resilient to enemy attacks while allowing him to consistently apply his debuffs. Furthermore, while his Health is above 50%, Maestro is immune to the Darkness debuff, meaning his damage cannot be reduced by it. He also cannot receive any negative effect except for Stun as long as he stays above 50% Health, making him highly resistant overall.
While Maestro isn’t particularly fast (Speed 126), this actually works to his advantage. He can wait for faster enemies to take their turns, apply Wrath to them, and then punish them with devastating attacks. On Spawn, Maestro gains Safeguard, protecting his buffs. Additionally, as long as there are two or more enemies, on his turn, he gains +30% Drain (up to a maximum of 90%) and +10% Speed (up to a maximum of +30%). The longer the fight lasts, the faster and more self-sustaining Maestro becomes, making him increasingly difficult to take down as the battle progresses.
All these factors combined make Maestro one of the strongest characters in Marvel Strike Force, capable of turning the tide of battle with his unique mechanics and relentless damage output.
Maestro’s Basic attacks the primary target, dealing 350% damage, clearing 2 positive effects, and applying 2 Bleed for 2 turns.
However, if any enemy has 3 stacks of Wrath, the Basic ability becomes much more powerful: Maestro attacks all enemies for 350% damage, reduces the duration of Safeguard by 2, clears 2 positive effects from each enemy, and applies 2 Bleed for 2 turns to everyone hit. He also gains Speed Up for 2 turns. This enhanced version of Maestro’s Basic can only be triggered once per match, making it a crucial move to time for maximum impact.
Special costs 3 Ability Energy and is available on Maestro’s first turn. This ability attacks the primary target and adjacent enemies for 450% damage, and flips all their positive effects into negative effects, turning their buffs against them. After the attack, Maestro barriers himself for 30% of his Max Health, giving him significant protection.
For any enemies who have Wrath, the Special applies 2 Bleed, Defense Down, and Trauma for 2 turns, making them much more vulnerable to follow-up attacks. Additionally, those enemies take extra damage equal to 10% of Maestro’s Max Health. This ability makes Maestro disrupting enemy defenses and setting them up for massive damage.
Maestro’s Ultimate costs 6 Ability Energy and becomes available on his second turn. When activated, it clears Barrier from all enemies and then attacks all enemies for 400% Piercing damage. It also prolongs the duration of all negative effects on each enemy by 1 turn, except for Ability Block, Bleed, and Stun.
Before the attack, any enemies with Wrath receive 3 Bleed and Defense Down, making them even more susceptible to damage. This attack ignores Defense Up, allowing Maestro to cut through enemy defenses effortlessly. Additionally, any enemies defeated by this attack cannot be Revived.
This Ultimate makes Maestro a devastating force in battle, especially against teams that rely on barriers or revives to stay in the fight.
On Spawn, Maestro automatically gains Safeguard through his Passive, protecting his positive effects from being removed.
At the start of his turn, as long as there are two or more enemies remaining, he gains +30% Drain (up to a maximum of 90% Drain) and +10% Speed (up to a maximum of +30% Speed). This means Maestro becomes faster and gains even more self-healing the longer the battle goes on, and as long as he’s facing multiple opponents.
Whenever Maestro is attacked, his Wrath mechanic activates:
- If any enemy already has Wrath, he applies +1 Wrath (up to a maximum of 3) to that enemy.
- If none of the enemies have Wrath, he applies Wrath to the attacker.
Maestro cannot gain Defense Up or Minor Defense Up, but his resilience comes from his unique passive effects. While above 50% Health:
- He is immune to all negative effects except Stun.
- He is immune to Darkness, so that debuff cannot reduce his damage.
- He gains +50% Damage Reduction, +50% Focus, and +50% Resistance, making him much harder to damage, to gain debuffs, and more effective at applying his own debuffs.
This passive makes Maestro exceptionally durable and difficult to control, especially in the early stages of a battle.
Character shards for Maestro will primarily be collected through the third iteration of Battleworld, where he serves as the final boss. Additionally, shards will be available via special events that require players to own three of the new Daring Warrior characters at a certain number of Yellow Stars. Once Maestro is recruited and tested in various game scenarios, we’ll have a clearer picture of his full potential. For now, even without hands-on experience, everything about his kit suggests that he will be a very strong, powerful, and efficient character.
