Iso-8

Living Mummy can be a great fit for the Striker Iso-8 class. With his follow-up Iso-8 attack, he grants himself Counterattack and Speed Up (if he has Revive Once), deals Piercing damage, and heals for 15% of his Max Health, making Striker a very valid option for him. Alternatively, you can choose the Healer class to further boost his already strong healing abilities, keeping both himself and his team in top shape throughout the fight.

T4 Priority

P – Passive ability

S – Special ability

U – Ultimate ability

B – Basic ability

Passive Living Mummy gains Revive Once on Spawn and passively boosts the entire Brimstone team’s Speed by +7%. Both of these enhancements are crucial for him and the whole Brimstone squad.

With Revive Once, the entire Brimstone team gains extra Damage Reduction and Resistance in War if they don’t have Defense Up. Living Mummy himself becomes immune to Bleed, Ability Block, Stun, Vulnerable, and Regeneration in War, making him incredibly hard to take down and control. Additionally, in all game modes, as long as he has Revive Once, he will automatically gain Taunt at the start of any turn if he doesn’t already have it—constantly protecting his allies.

The Speed boost is a massive benefit for the team. Brimstone is already a fast squad, and with this extra Speed, they become even quicker and more formidable.

Special – Grants Safeguard to Living Mummy and all Brimstone allies, while also increasing Living Mummy’s damage output. Safeguard is one of the most valuable buffs in the game, preventing your positive effects from being stripped or altered. Any ability upgrade that grants Safeguard is well worth investing in, as it can make a crucial difference in your team’s overall performance.

Ultimate Living Mummy deals even more damage—but the real game-changer is that he also gains Revive Once. We already know how important Revive Once is for his performance, and while he receives it on Spawn, a lot can happen before Living Mummy’s second turn (when he can use his Ultimate), and he might lose Revive Once during the fight. Maxing his Ultimate allows him to regain Revive Once mid-battle, letting him maintain all the powerful benefits that come with it and ensuring he remains a resilient protector for the team.

About Character

The Living Mummy is a character who blends elements of horror, mysticism, and superhero storytelling. His real name is N’Kantu, a warrior prince from ancient Egypt who was betrayed and cursed to an eternal existence wrapped in bandages. His story begins thousands of years ago when he led his people in a rebellion against oppressive rulers. However, after his victory, N’Kantu was captured by a high priest who embalmed him alive and cursed him to remain immortal, trapped in a mummified state.

Over the centuries, N’Kantu’s body was discovered and reawakened multiple times, often finding himself caught between his ancient rage and the modern world. Despite his terrifying appearance and tragic backstory, N’Kantu is not inherently evil. He struggles with his curse and seeks redemption while navigating his new reality.

One of the most intriguing chapters in his story is his involvement with the Brimstone team. This group, formed during Marvel’s exploration of supernatural and horror-themed heroes, brought together misfit characters who faced dark and mystical threats. As a member of this team, the Living Mummy found a sense of purpose, using his immense strength and centuries of wisdom to combat supernatural forces.

The Brimstone team allowed N’Kantu to forge connections with other outcasts, such as Satana and Manphibian, who shared similar struggles with their monstrous identities. Together, they worked to protect humanity from threats that conventional heroes couldn’t handle. For N’Kantu, being part of this team was not just about fighting evil—it was also about finding camaraderie and acceptance in a world where he often felt alienated.

The Living Mummy remains a unique and compelling figure, embodying themes of tragedy, redemption, and the eternal battle between good and evil. His role in the Brimstone team highlights his ability to rise above his curse and contribute to a greater cause, proving that even those burdened by darkness can become heroes.

Living Mummy is a versatile ally for the Brimstone team, offering a unique combination of abilities to enhance their performance. On any turn, he gains Taunt, Safeguard, and self-healing if he possesses Revive Once and lacks Taunt. This ensures his durability and ability to protect allies effectively. Additionally, Living Mummy accelerates victory by boosting his Brimstone allies with Drain and increased Speed, making them more formidable in battle. His presence not only fends off the curse of Taunt for the entire team but also provides essential support through protection, healing, and enhanced combat capabilities.
