Iso-8
Cable will be at his best with an offense-centered Iso-8 class, like Raider or Striker. He’s mostly a single-target damage dealer, although his Special can hit adjacent targets, too, and with his Immortal X-Men team, he will take his turn right after Polaris groups the enemies together, so both options are valid here.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
S – Special ability
U – Ultimate ability
B – Basic ability
Passive – will allow Cable to always apply Counter to a random Mutant ally or self (instead of a 20% chance) and will increase his Barrier gain to 20% when he has Charged on his turn. Overall, it might not be as impactful so it may be smart to focus on other characters first and come back to Cable after they are done. Once you have more T4s to spare, this (as well as Special and Ultimate) are good enough to be considered. But if you are pressed for T4 Ability materials and you don’t heavily focus on CC, you can ignore this
Special – the upgrade will increase the overall damage output and will clear all positive effects from the enemies he hits. Another decent upgrade
Ultimate – will provide a bonus damage to the attack, and will flip 2 negative effects to positive on Cable, and 2 positive into negatives on the enemy. If this ability eliminates an enemy, Cable and Jean gain a huge Speed Bar boost, so having more damage will help with that.
