Iso-8
Daimon Hellstrom is the first to act on the Brimstone team, and in most other cases, when he is used as plug-and-play, making Raider the best Iso-8 choice for him to maximize his damage potential and apply Vulnerables to enemies when he lands critical hits. This way, an ally with the Striker Iso-8 class, who plays after Daimon, can exploit those Vulnerables for even more impact.
Alternatively, you can give him Skirmisher—especially if he has low Yellow or Red Stars—to ensure all his powerful debuffs land consistently on opponents. This also creates an interesting synergy with Hellcat, since whenever Daimon uses his Basic, he’ll trigger an Assist Now from Hellcat, and vice versa. In certain situations, you can profit from that Striker-Skirmisher combo: it’s often better for Daimon (as the first to act) to take Skirmisher, while Hellcat (who acts after him) takes Striker, allowing her to take full advantage of the Vulnerables he applies to key targets.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
B – Basic ability
Passive – Allows him to generate 1 Ability Energy for two Brimstone allies or himself on enemy death (up from just one ally). Extra Ability Energy for more team members is always valuable, helping you cycle powerful abilities faster and keep the pressure on your opponents.
Additionally, in War—if Daimon has three or more Brimstone allies—even enemy Mephisto won’t be able to increase his Speed stat. Without this upgrade, only non-Mephisto enemies are blocked from boosting their Speed, but once maxed, Mephisto is included too. This makes maxing Daimon Hellstrom’s Passive absolutely crucial for War, ensuring Brimstone can control the pace of battle against every threat.
Ultimate – Deals even greater damage, and in War, if no character has taken a turn yet, Daimon has three or more Brimstone allies, and he isn’t Exhausted, he will reduce the duration of all positive effects on all enemies by 2 (an anti-Safeguard mechanic). This ability to cut down enemy positives—even against teams with Safeguard—is incredibly powerful, as it lets you remove buffs from opponents who would otherwise be protected. Investing in this upgrade gives Brimstone a huge advantage in War, making Daimon’s Ultimate a must-max for top-tier performance.
Special – Deals increased damage and clears all Battlefield Effects from the allied side. This makes it a must-have upgrade, as it allows Daimon Hellstrom to remove any enemy Battlefield Effect on his side of the battlefield—like those from Knull, Odin, Red Hulk, or even Franklin (outside of Arena)—as soon as Daimon uses his Special. This level of control can be crucial, keeping Daimon’s team safe from some of the most disruptive abilities in Marvel Strike Force.
