Cull Obsidian retaliates whenever someone attacks a Black Order ally so it’s best to equip him with Skirmisher ISO-8 class. That lets him place Vulnerability on the entire enemy team very fast clearing positive effect in the process.
The other option in my opinion is Striker. It increases the overall damage output of BO.
Don’t forget though that the majority of players equip him with Fortifier instead.

B – Basic ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
Passive – Increased Damage; +10% HP to all Black Order members. At this point improving Cull Obsidian’s passive is not mandatory but it is needed if you wanna have effective Black Order.
