Iso-8
Star-Lord (Annihilation) is a character with high Focus. He buffs the entire Knowhere team with Focus and should have enough of him to apply debuffs to enemies. So the Skirmisher is an unnecessary option.
Striker is Iso-8 class from which Star-Lord (Annihilation) will benefit the most. With all his attacks (except Ultimate), he will cast Vulnerable on all targets he hits. As a Striker, Star-Lord (Annihilation) will make a follow-up attack on the target he hits, regardless of whether they had Vulnerable on them before his attack or not. Even after that follow-up attack, the target will still have Vulerable (for the simple reason that he also casts Vulerable with his follow-up attack).
Raider can also be an option, but he will benefit more from Striker (in my opinion). Because when we decide which Iso-8 is the best for a certain character, we should also take into consideration the other members of his team. And in the Knowhere team, other characters are much better options for Raider than Star-Lord (Annihilation). And they have excellent benefits from that class for themselves and the whole team, so if we decide to give him Rider – it would be too much without compatibility.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
B – Basic ability
Passive
Same as most other Abilities of Knowhere characters Star-Lord (Annihilation) Passive only applies to War. He will apply Offense Down (2 turns) to all enemies on Spawn. And in the War, the Knowhere team will get an additional 50% Focus.
Offense Down is a great thing that will nerf the enemy’s offensive potential at the very start of the fight, but the additional Focus is crucial. It will allow for a different layout of Iso-8 classes and allow certain characters to cast significant debuffs on enemies much more easily.
Ultimate
Additional Damage, which is standard for an ability that deals Damage. In War, he will apply Trauma to every target with Vulnerable. This will allow Bleading and Heal Block to prevent healing, as Trauma will prevent removing those debuffs. This will slowly but surely drain the enemy’s Health.
Special
In a War, if Nova is an ally Star-Lord (Annihilation) will clear Immunity from the primary target and the highest damage non-primary target. Also, the Damage of the Special will be increased.
Since we know that Star-Lord (Annihilation) opens with this ability, we see that he will be able to remove Immunity from two enemies and thus make them significantly more vulnerable.
Basic
Damage will significantly increase, but the most important thing is that with Basic at max, he can inflict Vulnerability on the target. This will enable an additional hit as far as he is the Striker (Iso-8 Class). Since the extra attack will also inflict Vulnerability, that effect will remain on the target even after his hit.

Theory Craft
After being nearly killed fighting the Phalanx Empire, Star-Lord found his shelter in the Kree Empire. When he recovered, he led a group of heroes on a mission to stop the Phalanx invasion of the Kree Empire. Others with him on that team included Nova, Gamora, Rocket, and Drax.
Star-Lord (Annihilation) is the Knowhere team’s Brawler with high Focus and Damage. He attacks multiple enemies and can place nasty debuffs on them: double Blind, Trauma… He also can put additional Vulnerable on opponents, so his set of skills is interesting.
Basic – Flip-Shot
His Basic attack does not impose any debuffs on enemies. However, engaging part is – he attacks multiple targets and applies +1 Vulnerable to all.
Like his Knowhere teammates, he has a 50% chance to revive death Korg (100% in War) with 10% Max Health.
ISO – 8/Counter Attack/Assists:
Less damage compared to Basic attack, and also applies +1 Vulnerable.
Special – Bullet Spin
Energy Cost: 4/4
The Special can is usable in the first turn, and it will attack primary and adjacent targets, deal a lot of damage to them, cast +2 Vulnerable on all of them, and Blinding (2 turns) primary target. Star-Lord (Annihilation) gets +100% Extra Focus on this attack. The attack is Unavoidable.
In a War in which the Nova ally attack will remove Immunity from the primary target and the highest Damage non-primary target. Also, in War, Star-Lord will inflict Blind (2 turns) on the highest Damage non-primary target with this attack.
Considering the extra Focus on this attack, and since we know that Star-Lord (Annihilation) certainly has a high Focus, we should not be afraid that he will fail to apply debuffs. That’s great because Blind is one of the better debuffs, and he will cast that debuff on 2 targets for 2 turns.
So opening the battle for the Knowhere team with Star-Lord means that the most dangerous opponent will be Blinded and thus prevented from harming the team.
Ultimate – Spray and Pray
Energy Cost: 6/8
With his Ultimate Star-Lord (Annihilation) will attack primary and adjacent targets, casting 2 Bleed (2 turns) and Heal Block (2 turns) on everyone. In War, it will also inflict Trauma on each target with Vulnerable.
This ability has a significant application in War, where the Knowhere team has the most benefits from it. It can prevent opponents from healing while slowly (but surely) draining their Health.
Passive – Ragtag Commander
When this character or anyone from the Knowhere team drops below 50% Max Health, he will apply +1 Evade to the most injured ally. While Star-Lord has Deflect or Minor Deflect, he and all Knowhere allies gain +50% Accuracy. He will passively provide +50% Focus for the Knowhere team.
In War, an additional +50% Focus for the Knowhere team, and on Spawn Star-Lord will apply Offense Down (2 turns) to all enemies.
We see that each member of Knowhere passively gives explicit bonuses to the whole team as much as they have Deflect. And we know they get a lot of Deflect during combat. Thus, Star-Lord gives additional Accuracy to Knowhers and thereby increases their offensive potential. An additional Focus for the team also increases their effectiveness, and in War, thanks to Star-Lord (Annihilation) Knowhere, the team will have doubled Focus.
If there are awkward situations during the combat and anyone from the Knowhere team loses a lot of Health, he will passively help them by casting Evade and (very likely) extend their life.
All in all Star-Lord (Annihilation) is an interesting character who is certainly not a classic damage dealer but can be seen as a controller in the Knowhere team. As well as the rest and every member of that team. Everyone has some way of influencing the enemy by controlling certain aspects, so the Knowhere team as a unit represents a complex and compact structure that will (especially in War but also largely outside of it) be an insurmountable obstacle for almost all (if not all) opposing teams.
With its ability to cast nasty debuffs on opponents, Star-Lord (Annihilation) is an excellent offensive link that certainly deserves its place in the Knowhere chain. The Vulnerable effect that he can apply with each of his attacks expands his offensive capabilities and thus makes it much easier for the entire Knowhere team to choose Iso-8 classes. Additional Focus is also a dominant factor in all of this. With Star-Lord, Knowhere certainly doesn’t have to worry much about whether their debuffs will find their way to the enemy.
At the very end, we have to mention his Guardian tag, which will help him pick up bonuses from Guardian allies if he finds himself with them in the team. However, he does not buff the other Guardians in any way. So his combination with them is questionable.
