Iso-8
Spider-Man (Big Time) has increased Focus and also on his Ultimate (the most essential Ability) additional Focus, so Skirmisher falls out of the game when it comes to Iso-8 Class. He will always be able to apply all debuffs In Alliance War Defense.
Raider/Striker should be his Iso-8 because he will benefit most from those 2 Classes.
Since he will play first in his team and start the fight with Ultimate (this is how the AI works) – he will attack all enemies. With the Raider Class, it will be an opportunity to cast the Vulnerable on multiple targets, which he/his allies will be able to exploit later.
As a Striker, his damage will generally increase (an additional follow-up attack is always great). However, since with Special, he literally does not attack but only buffs his own and debuffs the opposing team, Basic attack imposes only one debuff (Defense Down), Striker Class is (in my opinion) in a slightly worse position comparable to Raider.
However, in the Infestation team, where we have two characters who always assist, Striker will prove to be the most useful. So the general advice is Striker.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
B – Basic ability
Passive
Level 5 Passive does two important things. First is speed bar generation for self and Infestation allies, every time that Spider-Man (Big Time) is attacked. And second – reducing speed bar generation for enemy Controllers(this part is only for War Defense)
Ultimate
Maxed-out Ultimate is a must, not only will it apply Trauma for 2 turns to all enemies, but it also applies blinds to 2 enemies with the highest speed and steals ability energy.
Special
Special is already great as is, but when upgraded to Level 7 it will also remove all Barrier from 2 enemies. And the cooldown for this ability is very short.

Theory Craft
Peter Parker developed a new Spider-Man suit with upgraded tech, including a green camo mode that made him invisible to visual and audio means and a red anti-sound mode. He will use it to fight crime and defeat new villains who appear and terrorize the city.
Spider-Man (Big Time) is the Controller of the new Infestation team, with high Focus and Health stats. This team will be efficient in Alliance War Defense. When he is in a complete Infestation team, Spider-Man (Big Time) gets Charged, which improves his Ultimate Ability so that he can apply 2 turns of powerful debuffs on enemies and steal (up to 2) Ability Energy from them.
Infestation is a new Alliance War Defense META team whose members are: Spider-Man (Big Time), Ant-Man, Black Widow, Swarm, and Yellowjacket. All these “old” characters will receive upgrades for their new roles. So their stats and Ability will be upgraded.
Basic – Big Time Thwip
With a Basic attack, attack the primary target and apply +1 Defense Down (up to a max 3). Then he will do a bonus attack (a bit less damage) and put in the same debuff.
If he is forced to attack an Infestation ally, he deals less damage to them.
Solid, but nothing more than that Basic Ability, with which Spider-Man (Big Time) is able to (due to the bonus attack) do a lot of damage and put Defense Down x2 on the target.
ISO – 8/Counter Attack/Assists:
Same as a Basic attack with less damage. Again, if forced to attack an Infestation ally, he will do just 10% Piercing to them.
Special – Big Time Beatdown
Energy Cost: 3/3
When using Special, Spider-Man (Big Time) gains Anti-Sound mode and clear Stealth Mode.
He will clear all Barrier and Revive Once from primary and target with the highest Speed. It is unavoidable and cannot be blocked. Also, apply Offense Up and Defense Up to the entire Infestation team.
This is, in essence, a buffering Ability that applies big buffs to the Infestation team and removes Barrier and Revives Once from two opponents.
As you will see later when we describe Passive, Spider-Man (Big Time) has two combat modes: Anti-Sound and Stealth. By using the Special, he enters Anti-Sound mode and removes (if he had it on) Stealth mode. You can check bonuses from both combat modes in the description of his Passive.
Ultimate – Arachnid Assault
Energy Cost: 7/7
After using Ultimate, Spider-Man (Big Time) gains Stealth mode and clear Anti-Sound Mode.
He will attack all enemies, flip all positive effects into negatives on the primary target, and cast Disrupted (2 turns) on the primary target. After that, he will gain 2 Evades.
If he is Charged, he will flip positivities into negativities and apply Disrupted (2 turns) on all enemies. In addition, it will inflict Trauma to all enemies (2 turns) and Blind to 2 enemies with the highest Speed. In addition, it will steal 2 Ability Energy from each enemy. However, even if they take away their Ability Energy Spider-Man (Big Time) can only gain a maximum of 2 Ability Energy from this attack. Then he will lose 1 Charged.
This attack gains +1000% extra Focus, is Unavoidable, and cannot be blocked. It cannot be assisted, so none of the allies can assist after this attack.
As you can see after reading the Passive description, Spider-Man (Big Time) only gets Charged when in War Defense and with 4 Infestation allies. And that can happen only once per War. So Charged (and all the Ultimate bonuses that come with it) is reserved for the War Defense game mode only.
In its first defensive battle of the War, Infestation will be a dangerous opponent – impossible for most teams to defeat. However, after that, their defensive strength will drop. Not enough for them to be easy for most, but enough for certain opponents to have a chance against them.
Spider-Man (Big Time) Ultimate is dangerous even without Charged because it will certainly flip all positives into negative effects and cast Disrupted even on the primary target, precisely because of the huge bonus on Focus and the impossibility of missing or blocking.
Passive – Stealth Spider
When in Anti-Sound mode, Spider-Man (Big Time) reduces the Armor of all enemies by 20%.
When Stealth mode is active, Spider-Man (Big Time) gains +20%, Dodge Chance.
On Spawn, gain Speed Up (himself) and Defense Up (2 turns) for all Infestation allies and himself.
On War Defense, with 4 Infestation allies, gets Charged. This can only happen once per War. On War Defense, he will apply Immunity to himself and all Infestation allies.
When Spider-Man (Big Time) is attacked, he will passively fill the Speed Bar by 20% for himself and all Infestation allies. If he or anyone on the Infestation team drops below 50% Max Health, he will cast Stealth on them. In War Defense, he will also apply Evade to that character.
Spider-Man (Big Time) passively gains +50% Max Health and +150% Focus. On War Defense, the entire Infestation team gets those bonuses.
On War Defense, he will passively reduce the Speed Bar generated by any Controller enemy by 50%.
This is a really significant part of his Passive. Because it will reduce the Speed that the opposing controllers get.
For example, Magneto on Spawn gets +15% to Speed and +15% per Brotherhood or Death Seed ally. So if he is in one of these two teams, Magneto on Spawn gains 75% on Speed. If you attack the Infestation team with the Death Seed team, Magneto will get 37.5% Speed on Spawn.
Another example of many is Black Widow – who gains 15% Speed when any of the characters take action. If you attack the Infestation team in War with Black Widow, she will get 7.5% Speed.
All things considered, Spider-Man (Big Time) is a fantastic War Defense Character. The crucial member of the Infestation team and an excellent Controller who can switch between two combat modes (Stealth and Anti-Sound) after using Special or Ultimate. With different bonuses from each.
He gives additional Health and Focus to the Infestation team, with other good buffs such as Offense and Defense Up and Immunity. It can also passively increase the Speed Bar of all Infestation members. With the debuffs he can do to enemies, he is a true War Defense Character.
The other members of the Infestation team haven’t been updated yet (their stats will be upgraded and Abilities changed), and Spider-Man (Big Time) isn’t in the game yet either, so until we test them, we can’t know for sure what they can do, which teams in War they will be effective against and whether anyone other than the Knowhere team will have a chance against them.
There will certainly be some interesting combinations that can effectively counter them. It’s up to us to wait until the Infestation team is active in the game, test it and help all of you reading this.
