Iso-8

Morph may seem like a natural fit for the Striker class since most of his attacks target a single enemy, but that would be a mistake. Thanks to his exceptional Speed, Morph almost always takes the first turn—especially within the Exalted X-Men team, where he always plays first—meaning there usually aren’t any Vulnerable debuffs on enemies for him to exploit as a Striker. That’s why Raider is actually the best choice for him.

Morph’s opening move is his Special, which targets a single enemy and can deal massive damage, particularly in Crucible. When Morph is with the Exalted X-Men, this attack has a 100% Crit Chance and hits the enemy multiple times (four times in total), so as a Raider, he can maximize his Crit Damage with every strike. His Ultimate also targets multiple enemies, further increasing the value of the Raider class. If Morph didn’t always play first, Striker could be a strong alternative, but given his speed and attack patterns, Raider is clearly the optimal Iso-8 class for Morph.

T4 Priority

P – Passive ability

U – Ultimate ability

S – Special ability

B – Basic ability

Passive – When Morph’s Passive is fully upgraded, he will, on any turn, flip Darkness into Safeguard if he has that debuff. If he has at least three Exalted X-Men allies, then whenever any Exalted X-Men ally receives Darkness, Morph will flip Darkness into Safeguard for all X-Men. This is a fantastic upgrade, turning one of the most troublesome effects in the game—Darkness—into a powerful advantage for the Exalted X-Men team, providing them with extra protection.

Ultimate – With his Ultimate fully upgraded, Morph deals increased damage and copies all positive effects from the primary and adjacent targets to himself (up from only 2 positive effects from each). This means that when Morph uses his maxed Ultimate, he can gain far more buffs, greatly boosting his own power and survivability after the attack. It’s a significant upgrade that maximizes both his offensive and defensive potential.

Special – When Morph’s Special is fully upgraded, he will repeat the attack three times instead of two. This significantly increases his overall damage with this ability, especially since his Special has 100% Crit Chance, resulting in even higher burst potential. The impact is even greater in Crucible, where this attack deals double damage. Maxing this ability not only boosts Morph’s offensive output but also makes him a true threat in Cosmic Crucible battles.

Basic – With his Basic at max level, Morph will deal increased damage and copy 3 random positive effects from the primary target (up from 2 positive effects when not maxed). This upgrade gives Morph even more opportunities to stack valuable buffs, further increasing his offensive and defensive capabilities with every use of his Basic.

About Character

Shapeshifting, wit, and unpredictable energy—Morph is one of the most unique and entertaining members ever to join the X-Men. Known for his ever-changing appearance and a knack for comic relief, Morph brings both versatility and heart to any team he’s part of.

Morph is most often associated with the character Kevin Sydney, a mutant whose powers allow him to alter his shape, size, and even voice at will. This makes him a master of infiltration, disguise, and subterfuge, capable of sowing confusion among enemies or turning the tide of battle with a well-timed impersonation.

Beyond his shapeshifting abilities, Morph is beloved for his sense of humor and optimism. Whether lightening the mood after a tough fight or using his powers to play pranks on teammates, he embodies the idea that joy and resilience go hand in hand—even in the darkest times. Morph’s unique perspective and flexibility have helped him earn the trust and affection of the X-Men, who rely on him for both his tactical value and his ability to lift team spirits.

Over the years, Morph has appeared in various alternate realities, often as the heart of the team who can adapt to any situation. His story is a testament to the importance of being true to oneself and embracing change, no matter what form it takes. For both fans and fellow heroes, Morph represents the unpredictable magic that keeps the X-Men’s world endlessly surprising.

Morph brings unmatched speed and versatility to the Exalted X-Men as a Brawler, taking the initiative in nearly every fight thanks to his impressive Speed stat of 134. This allows him to act before most opponents, setting the tone of battle in favor of his team right from the start.

At the beginning of combat, Morph disrupts classic defensive strategies by preventing enemies from hiding behind Taunt. Before he even takes his first turn, if any enemy has Taunt, he applies Taunt to all opponents and blocks them from gaining Offense Up, immediately destabilizing their plans. Morph’s unique anti-Darkness mechanic is another standout feature: if Darkness is applied to him, he instantly converts it into Safeguard, nullifying the debuff’s effect. When teamed with other Exalted X-Men, this benefit extends to the entire squad—any time an ally gains Darkness, Morph flips it to Safeguard for everyone, turning a dangerous debuff into a powerful protective buff.

Morph’s synergy with the Exalted X-Men goes even further. As long as he is with his team, he is completely immune to Silence and Disrupted, which is vital because his playstyle revolves around acquiring and stacking positive effects. In Cosmic Crucible, he takes team control to another level by preventing any kind of Speed stat or Speed Bar manipulation from opponents, helping the Exalted X-Men dominate in that game mode.

The more positive effects Morph has, the more his damage skyrockets. With his abilities, he can copy buffs from his targets and use them to amplify his own attacks, making him a constant threat to the enemy. Because he cannot be silenced or disrupted, he continuously gains and utilizes these positive effects, which keep his offensive power growing throughout the fight. Morph is not only a dynamic opener but also a dangerous damage dealer and a key to securing early momentum for the Exalted X-Men.
