Iso-8

Eclipse can be an excellent Striker because her Iso-8 attack also heals herself or the most injured ally for 5% of her Max Health. However, in the Daring Warrior team, she plays first, so there are usually no Vulnerable effects on enemies for her to exploit, meaning she rarely gets to perform the Striker Iso-8 bonus attack. That’s why it’s better to give her the Raider Iso-8 class—since her Special and Ultimate target multiple enemies, the Raider class boosts her overall damage through increased crit chance and crit damage, making her more effective in her primary role.

T4 Priority

S – Special ability

P – Passive ability

U – Ultimate ability

B – Basic ability

Special – It will deal increased damage and reduce the duration of Trauma by 2 on herself and all Daring Warrior allies. This is an excellent upgrade, because Eclipse applies this Trauma reduction immediately after attacking with her Special, but before she flips all negative effects and applies Immunity to the team.

That means, with her Special maxed, Eclipse will always flip all negative effects into positive ones and apply Immunity to the whole team—no matter what kind of debuffs they are suffering from—making her Special one of the most valuable tools for keeping the Daring Warriors safe and ready to fight (and fully buffed, of course).

Passive – Whenever one or more enemies are defeated, Eclipse will automatically attack a random enemy Brawler for 200% damage. In Crucible or Battleworld, if Eclipse has at least three Daring Warrior allies, this attack becomes even more powerful by also applying Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to that Brawler.

This upgrade provides the team with an additional passive offensive tool, allowing Eclipse to attack the enemy Brawlers each time an opponent is eliminated. In Crucible and Battleworld, this effect is even more impactful, helping to control and debilitate key enemy threats as the battle progresses.

Ultimate – Eclipse will not only deal increased damage, but—more importantly—she will clear all Barrier from every enemy before dealing damage. This is a huge advantage, especially against teams that rely on massive Barrier for protection. By removing all Barrier first, Eclipse ensures her Ultimate hits at full strength, and that her team’s attacks after that will also be far more effective. This upgrade significantly boosts both her own damage output and the overall offensive potential of the Daring Warrior team in battles where enemy Barriers would otherwise pose a major obstacle.

About Character

Eclipse is the newest MSF Original character, making her unique in the Marvel universe as she appears exclusively in Marvel Strike Force. Serving as the team’s Protector, Eclipse doesn’t protect her squad by simply gaining Taunt—instead, she uses a different approach. She also has the ability to heal her team, making her a crucial member of the Daring Warrior lineup.

As the avatar of Ixchel, Eclipse is the keystone member of the Daring Warriors. All of her abilities not only heal allies, but also trigger special effects: Crescent Moon, New Moon, or Full Moon. Each effect is activated by using a specific ability, providing powerful benefits to her team or imposing harmful debuffs on enemies:

  • Crescent Moon (Basic): Grants 100% Counterattack to Eclipse. In Crucible or Battleworld, her allies gain a 50% chance to counterattack as well.
  • New Moon (Special): Gives a 50% chance to apply Blind to enemies on their turn. In Crucible and Battleworld, if there are 3 or more Daring Warrior allies, Eclipse will ALWAYS apply Blind on enemy turns.
  • Full Moon (Ultimate): Applies Offense Down to enemies on their turn.

With these unique powers, Eclipse is not only a healer and protector but also a strategic linchpin of the Daring Warrior team.

On Spawn, through her Passive, Eclipse immediately attacks the enemy Protector with the highest Speed for 200% damage, acting before any other standard “On Spawn” effects take place. In Crucible or Battleworld, if Eclipse is teamed up with at least three Daring Warrior allies, this attack also applies Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to that enemy Protector. At the same time, Eclipse grants Safeguard and Defense Up for 2 turns to herself and all Daring Warrior allies, giving her team a strong defensive opening.

Whenever one or more enemies are defeated during the fight, Eclipse automatically targets a random enemy Brawler, dealing 200% damage. In Crucible or Battleworld, with three or more Daring Warrior allies, this follow-up attack also applies Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to the targeted Brawler.

Additionally, in Crucible or Battleworld, enemies are prevented from reviving, ensuring the Daring Warriors maintain control as the battle progresses. This passive set of abilities makes Eclipse a key force for both offense and team protection, especially in high-stakes game modes.

It’s important to clarify Eclipse’s three phases of protection:

  • Crescent Moon (triggered by Basic): Grants 100% Counterattack to Eclipse. In Crucible or Battleworld, her allies also gain a 50% chance to Counterattack.
  • New Moon (triggered by Special): On enemy turns, there’s a 50% chance to apply Blind. In Crucible or Battleworld, if there are 3 or more Daring Warrior allies, Eclipse ALWAYS applies Blind to enemies on their turn.
  • Full Moon (triggered by Ultimate): Applies Offense Down to enemies on their turn.

Whenever Eclipse uses one of her abilities, she gains the corresponding phase of protection as a unique buff. However, if she already has one of the other two Moon phases active, she automatically clears them—she can never have more than one phase of protection at a time. The phase she possesses always matches the last ability she used, ensuring her protection style adapts dynamically to the flow of battle. This design gives the Daring Warriors flexible and situational defensive tools, depending on which of Eclipse’s abilities are activated.
