Iso-8
Blade is primarily a damage-dealing character, so we should consider enhancing his damage output further. While both Raider and Striker classes can be a good fit for him, as a Striker Blade will be able to rewind enemy Speed Bar with his follow-up attack, making Striker the better option for him.
Furthermore, Blade can have his Passive awakened, which will allow him to assist his allies after they land a Critical attack, which can make Blade a good option for the Skirmisher class and will allow us to utilize the Skirmisher-Striker combination.
T4 Priority
P – Passive ability
U – Ultimate ability
S – Special ability
B – Basic ability
All of Blade’s abilities can become Awakened, further enhancing their effectiveness. This also means that it is recommended to eventually invest T4s into all of his abilities.
Passive – Will allow Blade to clear Defense Up and apply Defense Down on each successful attack. While all of Blade’s attacks ignore Defense Up, removing that and applying Defense Down will still be invaluable for Blade’s allies since it will significantly decrease the enemy’s defenses.
Awakened Passive – will increase the Crit Chance of all allies by +10%, and after Blade or his ally lands a Critical attack, Blade will gain Assist Now on the next ally turn.
Ultimate – Will allow Blade to steal 20% of Max Health from the primary target and redistribute it to himself. This will be incredibly powerful in Raids or other PvE modes where enemy characters might have huge Health Pools, and as a bonus, Blade might Heal himself back to 100% depending on the target.
Awakened Ultimate – Will apply Blind for 2 turns to primary and secondary targets.
Special – will slightly increase the damage output and will apply Slow to all secondary targets.
Awakened Special – will clear all negative effects from Blade, and 1 negative effect from all allies.
Basic – will allow Blade to repeat this attack once. His Basic can rewind the enemy Speed Bar by 10%, and if he repeats this attack, he will rewind their Speed Bar by a total of 20% (or even 30% if he does a Striker follow-up attack)
Awakened Basic – will add +20% extra Crit Damage to this attack

Theory-Craft
During Eric Brooks’ birth, his mother was bitten by a vampire, giving him the strengths of a vampire but none of their weaknesses. With superhuman strength, immunity to vampire bites, and the ability to sense the supernatural, Eric trained in martial arts and swordsmanship to become the ultimate vampire hunter. He adopted the name Blade and embarked on a relentless mission to rid the world of the undead, even coming face to face with the deadliest vampire of all: Dracula.
Blade is a damage-dealing brawler who can hunt down any target. All of his abilities deal piercing damage, ignore Defense Up, cannot be Blocked, and are Unavoidable, meaning that he will always hit hard and won’t have issues applying negative effects. Additionally, all of his attacks will passively clear Defense Up and will apply Defense Down to his enemies. Targets eliminated by Blade won’t be able to revive. Lastly, Blade can also rewind enemy Speed Bars either with his Ultimate or the Basic attacks.
Basic – Silver Slash
This ability will deal piercing damage to the primary target and rewind their Speed bar by 10%. Then Blade will repeat this attack once more.
If this is Awakened, the basic attack will gain +25% Extra Crit Damage
This attack ignores Defense Up, is Unavoidable, and cannot be blocked.
Safety Attack (Iso-8/Assist/Counterattack)
Works nearly identical to the Basic, with the only exception that the damage will be slightly lower and that Blade won’t repeat his attack.
If Basic is Awakened, the attack will also gain +25% Extra Crit Damage
In total, after Blade used his Basic and a Striker attack, he can rewind the enemy Speed Bar by 30%, which can often be invaluable.
Special – Glaive Volley
Energy Cost – 4/4
Blade will attack the primary and adjacent targets, dealing Piercing damage, clearing Speed up and applying Slow to them.
If this ability is Awakened, Blade will also clear all negative effects from himself and 1 negative effect from all allies.
This attack ignores Defense Up, is Unavoidable, and cannot be blocked.
Blade, especially with his Nightstalkers team, will be able to take his first turn very fast, meaning that he could outrun some of the fastest enemies and apply Slow to them from the get-go.
Ultimate – Dhampir’s Fury
Energy Cost – 6/6
This ability will allow Blade to attack the primary target, dealing piercing damage, reducing their Speed Bar by 25%, and stealing 20% of the target’s Max Health. After that, Blade will attack the primary and all adjacent targets again for piercing damage, reducing their Speed Bar by 50%, clearing Immunity, and applying Disrupted for 2 turns.
If this ability is Awakened, Blade will also apply Blind to all targets he hits.
This attack ignores Defense Up, is Unavoidable, and cannot be blocked.
This Ultimate ability can deal some devastating damage to a single target, mainly because he will hit the primary target twice and will steal 20% Max Health from them. On top of that, the primary target would have their Speed Bar rewound by a total of 50%. In an Awakened form, this ability also gains a lot of control since it can Blind enemies for 2 turns.
Passive – Daywalker
Characters killed by Blade cannot be Revived. This will be very useful as Blade is a heavy damage-dealer so often he can be the one who will deal the finishing blow.
On a successful attack, Blade will clear Defense Up and will apply Defense Down to each attacked target. All of Blade’s abilities are Unavoidable, so all of his attacks should also be successful, meaning that the only way for enemies to keep their Defense Up would be by having Safeguard.
At the end of any turn, Blade will flip Slow and Offense Down on 2 random Nightstalkers or himself that have Slow or Offense Down. This is an incredible supporting ability since it triggers after any turn (enemy turns included) and even if the enemy just applied these negative effects, Blade can remove them almost immediately after. This allows Blade to ensure that his Nightstalker allies are always ready to fight.
Blade will also deal an additional 20% piercing damage to all Vampires.
Blade passively gains +30% Drain and will provide the same to his Nightstalkers allies.
If his Passive is Awakened, Blade will increase the Crit Chance of all allies by +10%, and after he or any ally Crits, on the following ally turn, Blade will gain Assist Now.
Conclusion
Blade has a very powerful kit for a non-legendary character. His abilities are not locked behind any specific game modes, and he only has a few bonuses that he provides to his Nightstalkers team only. This will allow him to be an amazing plug-and-play choice, but he will also work extremely well with his Nightstalkers team in all game modes. His high stats can make him an incredible choice for Dark Dimensions too.
A huge amount of players patiently waited for Blade’s arrival as he is one of the fan favorites, and the wait was worth it since Blade is an incredible character and a welcome addition to the game
