Mordo is well-suited to be a Striker because his Iso-8 attack applies one to two random negative effects, making him a strong option. Another possibility for him is the Raider class, as he attacks all opponents with his Ultimate.

Special – Mordo will consistently apply Stun to the primary target, increasing the chance from 50% to a guaranteed effect. This upgrade is significant because relying on a 50% chance for Stun introduces too much randomness, which is something we want to minimize.

Ultimate – Not only deal more damage but also enhance the mitigation for the entire Accursed team, as Mordo will grant Defense Up (2 turns) to himself and all Mystic allies (all members of the Accursed team are Mystics). In Cosmic Crucible, Mordo will also apply 1 Bleed for each Accursed ally, up to a maximum of 4 Bleeds on all enemies. Therefore, with his maxed Ultimate, he boosts his team’s defensive capabilities while dealing additional damage and inflicting multiple Bleeds on opponents.

Basic – Always apply 2 random negative effects, as opposed to the previous range of 1-2 negative effects. Although this enhancement is not essential, it can be particularly useful in certain game modes like Negative Zone.

Mordo, whose full name is Karl Amadeus Mordo, is a significant character in the Marvel Universe, often depicted as an adversary of Doctor Strange. He is a master of the mystic arts, trained under the Ancient One, the same mentor who guided Stephen Strange. However, unlike Doctor Strange, Mordo’s ambitions and moral compass led him down a darker path.

Originally hailing from Transylvania, Mordo is a skilled sorcerer with a deep knowledge of arcane spells and dark magic. His jealousy and hunger for power often drive his actions, making him a dangerous and unpredictable foe. After being exposed for attempting to betray the Ancient One, Mordo became a bitter rival of Doctor Strange, frequently clashing with him in attempts to claim ultimate magical supremacy.

Mordo’s character embodies themes of betrayal, ambition, and philosophical conflict. His complex motivations and formidable powers make him a compelling figure.

Mordo is a Controller character who can apply random negative effects to opponents. He possesses unique abilities that allow him to Stun opponents and inflict conditions such as Blind, Slow, Heal Block, and Bleeds. Additionally, he can reduce the opponents’ Speed Bar and enhance his team’s defense by providing Defense Up.

Mordo also has a passive ability that increases his own durability and that of his Mystic allies whenever an opponent is defeated. In such cases, he heals himself and the most injured ally. If the defeated opponent is a Mystic, the healing is even stronger, and Mordo generates 2 Ability Energy, enabling him to use his abilities more quickly.
