Daring Warrior
Introduction
The Daring Warrior team stands out with the inclusion of the MSF original character Eclipse, and they receive additional bonuses specifically in Cosmic Crucible and Battleworld—making these two game modes the primary places where they truly shine. Generally, most teams in the game are specialized for just one mode, but the Daring Warriors are optimized for two, which makes them especially valuable. Investing in this team is sure to pay off in the long run.
This lineup features three new characters—Eclipse, Night Thrasher, and Speedball—alongside two reworked veterans: Daredevil and Jessica Jones. Eclipse represents the Mystic trait, Night Thrasher is Tech, while Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Speedball are all Bio characters. In terms of roles, Daredevil and Speedball act as Brawlers, Night Thrasher and Jessica Jones serve as Controllers, and Eclipse rounds out the team as the Protector. All five are Heroes. Additionally, Daredevil, Night Thrasher, and Jessica Jones have the City trait, while Eclipse and Speedball are Global.

Utility
- Cosmic Crucible
- Battleworld
They will be a true powerhouse in Crucible, where their abilities and passive effects allow them to defeat nearly any opposing team or character combination. The Daring Warriors receive equal bonuses whether used on Crucible Offense or Defense, meaning they can strengthen your attack or defense—they aren’t limited to just one side of the battle.
In Battleworld, the Daring Warriors will be especially important for the third edition of this game mode, set in a territory controlled by the tyrannical Boss Maestro: Dystopia, where players will have a chance to recruit Maestro himself. Skipping this team would be a mistake if you want to recruit this powerful character as quickly as possible.
Eclipse, as an MSF original character, further raises the team’s value—MSF originals are always strong, and her kit confirms she is no exception.
Team Placement & Turn Order
We’ll position Eclipse in one corner, with Daredevil next to her. Night Thrasher goes in the center, Jessica Jones beside him, and Speedball in the opposite corner. Team placement isn’t especially critical here, since there’s no traditional Protector with Taunt that requires a specific position for optimal protection. While Eclipse is the team’s Protector, she defends her allies in a more unconventional (and unique) way—which you’ll learn about in the section where we break down each character individually.
Turn Order:
- Eclipse – 128 Speed
- Night Thrasher – 124 Speed
- Daredevil – 123 Speed
- Speedball – 122 Speed
- Jessica Jones – 114 Speed
This team isn’t particularly fast—in fact, they’re quite the opposite—but in Crucible and Battleworld, they completely negate any form of Speed Stat manipulation from the enemy side. Additionally, until Night Thrasher takes his first turn (and he’s not especially quick, with a Speed of 124), opponents are unable to manipulate Speed Bar in any way, cannot apply Speed Up to themselves, and cannot inflict Slow on the Daring Warrior team.
It’s also important to note that no member of the Daring Warriors can increase Speed Bar or Speed Stat for themselves or their allies, so the order of play for the team is always the same and highly predictable. At least until Night Thrasher takes his first turn. After that, enemies will be able to reduce the Speed Bar of those characters, and the order of play can change.
Iso-8 Classes
- Eclipse – Raider / Striker
- Daredevil – Raider
- Night Thrasher – Raider
- Jessica Jones – Fortifier / Striker
- Speedball – Striker
Eclipse can be an excellent Striker because her Iso-8 attack also heals herself or the most injured ally for 5% of her Max Health. However, in the Daring Warrior team, she plays first, so there are usually no Vulnerable effects on enemies for her to exploit, meaning she rarely gets to perform the Striker Iso-8 bonus attack. That’s why it’s better to give her the Raider Iso-8 class—since her Special and Ultimate target multiple enemies, the Raider class boosts her overall damage through increased crit chance and crit damage, making her more effective in her primary role.
Daredevil’s attacks always hit multiple enemies (Ultimate and Special) or strike the same target twice (with his Basic), and he gains increased Crit Chance whenever he has Counter. For these reasons, it makes sense to give him the Raider Iso-8 class, further boosting his overall damage output by increasing his critical hit potential on multi-target and chain attacks.
The best Iso-8 class for Night Thrasher is Raider, since all of his attacks hit multiple enemies. This choice increases his damage potential by boosting his critical hit chance and crit damage on those multi-target attacks, making him even more effective at spreading damage across the enemy team.
Jessica Jones can be an excellent Fortifier because she provides Barrier to herself, her Daring Warrior allies, and A-Force allies. With the Fortifier Iso-8 class, she further strengthens these Barriers, increasing the team’s survivability. While she does have a solid Basic attack, her Iso-8 attack unfortunately does not generate additional Ability Energy for her teammates, making Striker a decent but not optimal choice. Fortifier remains the best Iso-8 class for her to maximize her support and defensive capabilities.
Speedball is a true Striker, as his Iso-8 attack applies an additional Bleed to the primary target. On top of that, his Ultimate is a powerful single-target attack, so the Striker class will further enhance his damage output. This makes Striker the optimal Iso-8 choice for Speedball, maximizing both his offensive impact and his ability to apply Bleeds in battle.
Team T4’s
Essential
- Eclipse – Special and Passive
- Daredevil – Ultimate and Passive
- Night Thrasher – Ultimate and Special
- Jessica Jones – Special
- Speedball – Passive, Special, and Ultimate
Eclipse
Special – It will deal increased damage and reduce the duration of Trauma by 2 on herself and all Daring Warrior allies. This is an excellent upgrade, because Eclipse applies this Trauma reduction immediately after attacking with her Special, but before she flips all negative effects and applies Immunity to the team.
That means, with her Special maxed, Eclipse will always flip all negative effects into positive ones and apply Immunity to the whole team—no matter what kind of debuffs they are suffering from—making her Special one of the most valuable tools for keeping the Daring Warriors safe and ready to fight (and fully buffed, of course).
Passive – Whenever one or more enemies are defeated, Eclipse will automatically attack a random enemy Brawler for 200% damage. In Crucible or Battleworld, if Eclipse has at least three Daring Warrior allies, this attack becomes even more powerful by also applying Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to that Brawler.
This upgrade provides the team with an additional passive offensive tool, allowing Eclipse to attack the enemy Brawlers each time an opponent is eliminated. In Crucible and Battleworld, this effect is even more impactful, helping to control and debilitate key enemy threats as the battle progresses.
Daredevil
Ultimate – Deals slightly more damage. In Crucible or Battleworld, if Daredevil has at least three Daring Warrior allies, his Ultimate changes from a chain attack to an attack that targets all enemies for 400% damage and applies Slow to everyone for 2 turns.
This means that, in these two game modes, Daredevil’s Ultimate becomes a full-enemy team attack with significantly increased damage and crowd control, making it much more impactful and allowing him to disrupt and weaken the entire enemy squad at once.
Passive – Daredevil gains +5% Dodge chance for each Daring Warrior ally. In a full Daring Warrior team, that’s a total of +20% Dodge chance. While his Passive already gives him increased Dodge when teamed up with Defenders, maxing it out allows Daredevil to benefit from the same Dodge bonus when fighting alongside the Daring Warriors. This upgrade makes him much harder to hit, increasing his survivability no matter which of these teams he’s on.
Night Thrasher
Ultimate – Night Thrasher will deal increased damage, and in Crucible or Battleworld, if he has at least three Daring Warrior allies, he will reduce the duration of all positive effects on all enemies by 2. This is a fantastic upgrade, as it allows your team to strip buffs from opponents even if they have Safeguard active—essentially functioning as an anti-Safeguard mechanic and giving your team a significant advantage in controlling enemy buffs.
Special – Deal increased damage and apply 2 Deathproof to Night Thrasher and all allies. This upgrade not only boosts the team’s mitigation and sustain, but also enhances their offensive potential—thanks to Night Thrasher’s Passive, on his turn, whenever he has Deathproof, he applies Offense Up to himself and to a random ally who doesn’t already have it. This creates a strong synergy between his survivability and his ability to empower the team’s damage output.
Jessica Jones
Special – Jesica will clear all negative effects from all allies (up from 3 negative effects per ally). She also applies +1 Defense Up (up to a maximum of 3 turns) and Immunity to herself and all A-Force and Daring Warrior allies.
With this upgrade, you gain full team debuff clearance and improved mitigation for both the A-Force and Daring Warrior teams, making them much more resilient against enemy control and debuffs.
Speedball
Passive – When Speedball’s Passive is maxed, in Crucible or Battleworld, if he has at least three Daring Warrior allies, he and all Daring Warrior allies become immune to Ability Block. This is an extremely powerful upgrade, as it means the entire Daring Warrior team cannot be Ability Blocked in these game modes, ensuring they can always use their abilities when needed.
Special – It deals increased damage, and in Crucible or Battleworld, if Speedball has at least three Daring Warrior allies, he will also apply Ability Block for 2 turns to adjacent Villain enemies. Additionally, he will attack the Villain Brawler enemy with the highest Speed Bar for 240% Piercing damage and apply Ability Block for 2 turns to them as well.
This means that not only the primary target, but also adjacent targets—if they are Villains—will be Ability Blocked, plus enemy Villain Brawler with the most Speed Bar, providing even greater control over enemy teams and shutting down dangerous Villain threats.
Ultimate – Deals increased damage and applies Stun for 2 turns to the primary target. This is an excellent form of control, allowing you to completely shut down a key enemy for two turns while also inflicting heavy damage—making the upgrade to Speedball’s Ultimate a valuable investment for tougher battles.
Recommended
- Eclipse – Ultimate
- Daredevil – Special and Basic
- Night Thrasher – Passive and Basic
- Jessica Jones – Ultimate, Passive, and Basic
Eclipse
Ultimate – Eclipse will not only deal increased damage, but—more importantly—she will clear all Barrier from every enemy before dealing damage. This is a huge advantage, especially against teams that rely on massive Barrier for protection. By removing all Barrier first, Eclipse ensures her Ultimate hits at full strength, and that her team’s attacks after that will also be far more effective. This upgrade significantly boosts both her own damage output and the overall offensive potential of the Daring Warrior team in battles where enemy Barriers would otherwise pose a major obstacle.
Daredevil
Special – Deals increased damage and now chains the attack to 2 additional targets (previously it could chain to 1–2 targets). Most importantly, maxing this ability allows Daredevil to apply 2 Counter to all Daring Warrior allies, in addition to himself and all Defender allies, after using his Special. This upgrade ensures that both of his key teams benefit from extra retaliation power, boosting their overall damage potential.
Basic – It will deal increased damage, and the Bonus Attack will always trigger (up from a 40% chance). This guarantees that every time Daredevil uses his Basic, he follows up with an extra hit, significantly boosting his overall damage output.
Night Thrasher
Passive – When Night Thrasher’s Passive is maxed, on his turn, if he has Deathproof, he will apply Offense Up to a random ally who doesn’t already have it. This upgrade boosts not only Night Thrasher’s own offensive power, but also enhances the offensive potential of his allies, making the entire team more dangerous whenever the Deathproof buff is on him.
Basic – Night Thrasher deals increased damage to both the primary and secondary targets, and now clears 2 positive effects from each (up from 1). This means that if his Basic is fully upgraded, both the primary and secondary targets will have 2 positive effects removed, making Night Thrasher even more effective at stripping buffs from enemies while dealing solid damage.
Jessica Jones
Ultimate – With her Ultimate maxed, Jessica Jones will deal slightly increased damage and apply +1 Defense Up (up to a maximum of 3 turns) to herself and all A-Force and Daring Warrior allies. This means that even after using her Ultimate offensively, she continues to strengthen her teams defensively, providing them with extra mitigation for the following turns.
Passive – When Jessica’s Passive is maxed, she will provide +10% Resistance to all other allies. She already grants +20% Resistance to herself and all City allies, but with her Passive fully upgraded, even non-City allies will receive an extra boost to their Resistance—though at half the value given to City characters.
In the Daring Warrior team, Jessica, Daredevil, and Night Thrasher are City characters, so they will each get +20% Resistance, while Eclipse and Speedball (who are Global) will receive +10%. In the A-Force team, aside from Jessica, only Nico Minoru and Spider-Woman are City characters, so they will also benefit from the full +20% Resistance, while the rest of the team receives +10%.
This upgrade ensures better debuff resistance for the whole team, making both City and non-City allies more resilient.
Basic – When Jessica’s Basic is maxed, it will deal increased damage with both her primary and bonus attacks, and she will generate 1 Ability Energy for a random Defender or A-Force ally (or herself) who is not at full energy. This is a solid upgrade for Jessica when she’s part of an A-Force team, as it helps keep her allies’ abilities ready. However, this upgrade has almost zero impact when she’s used with the Daring Warrior team, since none of them (except Daredevil) are Defenders or A-Force members.
Red Stars and Diamonds
Getting 7 Red Stars on the new characters Eclipse, Night Thrasher, and Speedball shouldn’t be complicated, as long as you open Elite Red Star Orbs when he is featured there. Daredevil and Jessica Jones are older characters so plenty of players might have them at high Red Stars already.
You could also get Red Stars for them from the Incursion Campaign:
- 7 Red Stars for Daredevil – Incursion 3-5
- 7 Red Stars for Jessica Jones – Incursion 6-3
When the Eclipse, Night Thrasher, and Speedball becomes farmable and free-to-play players are able to collect 7 Yellow/Red Stars for them, we also recommend using Diamonds for them (at least 3 Diamonds, ideally 5)
For the four reworked characters, we also recommend a minimum of 3 Diamonds. Ideally 5.
Diamonds priority:
- Eclipse
- Night Thrasher
- Daredevil
- Speedball
- Jessica Jones
Farming Locations
- Daredevil – Character Store (Age of Annihilus)
- Jessica Jones – Character Store (Age of Annihilus), Villains 4-9

- Can’t Assist if Speedball has 3 Daring Warrior allies
Team Mechanics
The Daring Warrior team is a unique and formidable group within the Marvel universe, recognized for their relentless pursuit of justice and their fearless approach to danger. Formed from a diverse collection of street-level heroes, the team operates primarily in the shadows of New York City, tackling threats that often fall outside the reach of more conventional hero organizations.
United by their personal struggles and a shared commitment to protecting the innocent, the Daring Warriors are called upon when situations demand resourcefulness, determination, and a willingness to take risks. The team is known for navigating complex conspiracies, dismantling organized crime, and confronting supernatural forces that threaten the city’s fragile balance.
Their main adversaries are the underground syndicates and mystical cults that prey upon the vulnerable. The Daring Warriors frequently find themselves up against formidable foes, including shadowy crime lords, corrupt officials, and supernatural entities that threaten to engulf the city in chaos. Their missions often involve infiltrating criminal networks, exposing hidden plots, and defending ordinary people from threats that most heroes never even see.
With members such as Eclipse, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Night Thrasher, and Speedball, the Daring Warriors rely on their unique perspectives and skills to overcome seemingly insurmountable odds. Rather than adhering to strict rules or affiliations, they are guided by their strong moral compasses and personal codes of conduct. Their actions are a testament to the power of unity, courage, and the enduring fight for justice, regardless of the challenges they face.
Emerging from the shadows and leading the Daring Warriors squad are two battle-hardened veterans, Daredevil and Jessica Jones. They are joined by dynamic newcomers Night Thrasher, Speedball, and the Marvel Strike Force original character, Eclipse.
The Daring Warriors have quickly established themselves as a top-tier squad within the Cosmic Crucible, where their combined abilities can challenge and even defeat some of the most powerful teams vying for the favor of the Living Tribunal. Their first mission centers on tipping the scales of judgment in this arena, showcasing their synergy and strength against the toughest opponents.
Beyond the Crucible, the Daring Warriors are essential to the evolving story of Battleworld. As S.T.R.I.K.E.’s siege armada prepares to enter the perilous new territory of Dystopia—ruled by the tyrannical Boss Maestro—this team’s role becomes even more critical. Dystopia promises sweeping changes and new challenges, and the Daring Warriors are at the forefront of this chapter, ready to face whatever dangers await.
With Eclipse representing the next wave of original MSF characters, the Daring Warriors bring a blend of experience, innovation, and resolve. Unlocking and empowering this team will be vital for any commander preparing for the intense battles that lie ahead in Battleworld’s new era.
The Daring Warriors possess the unique ability to completely negate enemy Speed Stat manipulation in both Crucible and Battleworld game modes. Additionally, until Night Thrasher takes his first turn, they also prevent any form of Speed Bar manipulation and are immune to Slow. This team boasts excellent mitigation and top-tier damage, while also having the power to launch aggressive attacks when needed.
In both of the previously mentioned game modes, the Daring Warriors are immune to Ability Block and Defense Down, while their opponents cannot assist, gain Barrier, or Revive. These combined effects make the Daring Warriors an exceptionally powerful team. For a detailed breakdown of their capabilities, you can check out the individual descriptions of all five Daring Warrior characters.
Eclipse
Eclipse is the newest MSF Original character, making her unique in the Marvel universe as she appears exclusively in Marvel Strike Force. Serving as the team’s Protector, Eclipse doesn’t protect her squad by simply gaining Taunt—instead, she uses a different approach. She also has the ability to heal her team, making her a crucial member of the Daring Warrior lineup.
As the avatar of Ixchel, Eclipse is the keystone member of the Daring Warriors. All of her abilities not only heal allies, but also trigger special effects: Crescent Moon, New Moon, or Full Moon. Each effect is activated by using a specific ability, providing powerful benefits to her team or imposing harmful debuffs on enemies:
- Crescent Moon (Basic): Grants 100% Counterattack to Eclipse. In Crucible or Battleworld, her allies gain a 50% chance to counterattack as well.
- New Moon (Special): Gives a 50% chance to apply Blind to enemies on their turn. In Crucible and Battleworld, if there are 3 or more Daring Warrior allies, Eclipse will ALWAYS apply Blind on enemy turns.
- Full Moon (Ultimate): Applies Offense Down to enemies on their turn.
With these unique powers, Eclipse is not only a healer and protector but also a strategic linchpin of the Daring Warrior team.
Eclipse’s Basic allows her to strike the primary target for 320% damage while also providing healing to her team. When she uses this attack, she heals herself for 5% of her maximum Health and also heals the most injured ally or herself for an additional 5%. Each time she uses her Basic, Eclipse clears any Full Moon and New Moon effects from herself. Notably, the first time she activates this ability in a battle, she gains the Crescent Moon effect. With Crescent Moon, Eclipse has a 100% chance to counterattack, and, in Crucible or Battleworld modes, all her allies receive a 50% chance to counterattack as well. This makes her Basic both an offensive and supportive move, enhancing her team’s survivability and damage potential.
Special costs 6 Ability Energy and can be used right away on Eclipse’s first turn. She attacks the primary target and adjacent enemies for 450% damage, applying Disrupted and Silence to them for 2 turns each. This powerful attack is unavoidable and cannot be blocked or counterattacked.
In addition to the offensive power, Eclipse supports her team by reducing the duration of Trauma by 2 on herself and all Daring Warrior allies. She then heals herself and all allies for 25% of her Max Health and clears all Darkness effects from the team. While Eclipse is alive, neither she nor her allies can gain Darkness.
In Crucible or Battleworld, Eclipse and her Daring Warrior allies gain even more benefits: all negative effects are flipped into positive ones and Immunity is applied, plus they each generate 2 Ability Energy.
When she uses Special, Eclipse clears Crescent Moon and Full Moon from herself. The first time this move is used, she gains the New Moon effect. With New Moon active, there’s a 50% chance to apply Blind to enemies on their turn, and in Crucible or Battleworld, if Eclipse has at least three Daring Warrior allies, Blind is always applied to enemies on their turn.
Eclipse’s Ultimate costs 6 Ability Energy and becomes available on her second turn. When activated, she begins by clearing all Barrier from every enemy on the battlefield. She then grants Defense Up and Immunity to herself and all allies for 2 turns, strengthening the entire team’s defenses.
After boosting her team, Eclipse attacks all enemies, dealing 500% damage to each. She also heals herself and all Daring Warrior allies for 25% of her Max Health, providing a significant burst of survivability.
Once the Ultimate is used, Eclipse clears Crescent Moon and New Moon effects from herself. The first time she uses this move in a battle, she gains the Full Moon effect. While Full Moon is active, every time an enemy takes a turn, they are inflicted with Offense Down, weakening their attacks and making it easier for the Daring Warriors to control the fight.
On Spawn, through her Passive, Eclipse immediately attacks the enemy Protector with the highest Speed for 200% damage, acting before any other standard “On Spawn” effects take place. In Crucible or Battleworld, if Eclipse is teamed up with at least three Daring Warrior allies, this attack also applies Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to that enemy Protector. At the same time, Eclipse grants Safeguard and Defense Up for 2 turns to herself and all Daring Warrior allies, giving her team a strong defensive opening.
Whenever one or more enemies are defeated during the fight, Eclipse automatically targets a random enemy Brawler, dealing 200% damage. In Crucible or Battleworld, with three or more Daring Warrior allies, this follow-up attack also applies Trauma and Silence for 2 turns to the targeted Brawler.
Additionally, in Crucible or Battleworld, enemies are prevented from reviving, ensuring the Daring Warriors maintain control as the battle progresses. This passive set of abilities makes Eclipse a key force for both offense and team protection, especially in high-stakes game modes.
It’s important to clarify Eclipse’s three phases of protection:
- Crescent Moon (triggered by Basic): Grants 100% Counterattack to Eclipse. In Crucible or Battleworld, her allies also gain a 50% chance to Counterattack.
- New Moon (triggered by Special): On enemy turns, there’s a 50% chance to apply Blind. In Crucible or Battleworld, if there are 3 or more Daring Warrior allies, Eclipse ALWAYS applies Blind to enemies on their turn.
- Full Moon (triggered by Ultimate): Applies Offense Down to enemies on their turn.
Whenever Eclipse uses one of her abilities, she gains the corresponding phase of protection as a unique buff. However, if she already has one of the other two Moon phases active, she automatically clears them—she can never have more than one phase of protection at a time. The phase she possesses always matches the last ability she used, ensuring her protection style adapts dynamically to the flow of battle. This design gives the Daring Warriors flexible and situational defensive tools, depending on which of Eclipse’s abilities are activated.
Daredevil
Daredevil, also known as “The Man Without Fear,” is one of Marvel’s most iconic street-level heroes. By day, he is Matt Murdock, a skilled attorney committed to justice in the courtroom. By night, he dons the Daredevil persona to fight crime in the dangerous neighborhoods of Hell’s Kitchen, New York.
Blinded as a child in an accident involving a radioactive substance, Matt’s remaining senses were heightened to superhuman levels. This unique combination of abilities grants him an extraordinary awareness of his surroundings, allowing him to move with incredible agility and respond to threats others cannot perceive. His sense of hearing is so acute that he can “see” through sound, giving him a radar-like perception of the world.
Daredevil is renowned for his unwavering courage and relentless determination. He is a master martial artist and acrobat, using his enhanced senses and combat skills to take on gangsters, assassins, and even superpowered foes. Despite his blindness, Daredevil’s strength of will and moral code make him a symbol of hope for the people he protects.
As a founding member of the Daring Warriors, Daredevil brings his leadership, experience, and unyielding spirit to the team. Whether facing organized crime or supernatural threats, he stands at the forefront, ready to sacrifice everything in the fight for justice.
Daredevil is a Brawler who brings tremendous damage output to the team. Thanks to his passive, he has doubled Accuracy—gaining an impressive 205%—which means that even when he is affected by Blind, his attacks are nearly impossible for enemies to dodge. His offensive moves are powerful and often chain to multiple targets, making him a threat to entire enemy teams.
Daredevil can apply Slow to his opponents, disrupting their turn order and momentum, while simultaneously buffing his allies with Counter, allowing them to strike back when attacked. As long as Daredevil himself has Counter, he gains an additional 25% Crit Chance per Daring Warrior ally (+100% in a full team), enabling them to land critical hits far more frequently. This synergy makes Daredevil not only a devastating attacker but also a valuable support to his team’s overall effectiveness.
With Basic he targets a single enemy, dealing 270% damage, followed by a bonus attack for an additional 200% damage. If Daredevil is ever forced to attack an ally, he deals reduced damage to Daring Warrior characters, minimizing harm to his own team.
With his Special, Daredevil attacks the primary target for 250% damage, then chains the attack to up to two additional enemies within two spaces, each receiving 200% damage. If an enemy Dodges, the chain is broken and does not continue further.
After the attack, Daredevil grants 2 Counter to himself as well as all Defender and Daring Warrior allies, boosting the team’s ability to retaliate against incoming attacks right from the start. This ability combines aggressive offense with valuable team support. Special requires 4 Ability Energy and can be used on Daredevil’s first turn.
Daredevil unleashes a brutal assault with his Ultimate, striking the primary target for 400% damage, then chaining to 4–6 adjacent enemies for 240% damage each. If an enemy counterattacks, the chain is broken.
In Crucible or Battleworld, when Daredevil is teamed with at least three Daring Warrior allies, his Ultimate becomes even more devastating: instead of chaining, it hits all enemies for 400% damage and applies Slow for 2 turns to everyone. In those game modes, the attack cannot be blocked, making it nearly impossible to avoid.
This powerful ability allows Daredevil to punish clustered enemies or, with the right team, devastate the entire opposing side in high-stakes game modes. Daredevil’s Ultimate is ready to use from his first turn and costs 5 Ability Energy.
Passive enhances both Daredevil’s survivability and offensive capabilities. He gains a base 5% Dodge chance, plus an additional 5% Dodge chance for each Defender or Daring Warrior ally on his team. On top of that, he enjoys a flat 10% Damage boost.
Whenever Daredevil has Counter, he becomes even more dangerous—gaining an extra 25% Crit Chance for each Daring Warrior ally. This synergy fosters strategic team building, enabling Daredevil to achieve impressive levels of evasion and critical chance when accompanied by the right allies.
Night Thrasher
Night Thrasher, whose real name is Dwayne Taylor, is a relentless vigilante and a skilled strategist in the Marvel universe. Orphaned at a young age and driven by a personal quest for justice, Dwayne devoted his life to fighting crime and corruption, using both his intellect and physical prowess to take on threats that others might overlook.
Unlike many heroes, Night Thrasher doesn’t possess superhuman abilities. Instead, he relies on peak human conditioning, expert martial arts, and advanced technology. His custom suit is equipped with high-tech gadgets, weaponry, and a durable skateboard that he uses for rapid mobility and dynamic combat maneuvers. This combination of skills and equipment allows him to operate effectively alongside super-powered teammates and face formidable foes.
Night Thrasher is perhaps best known as the founder and leader of the New Warriors, a team of young heroes dedicated to making a difference when traditional methods fail. His tactical mind and unwavering determination have also made him a valuable asset to other teams, such as the Daring Warriors, where his leadership skills and resourcefulness shine.
Whether battling street gangs, dismantling criminal organizations, or confronting supervillains, Night Thrasher is guided by a strong moral code and a fierce dedication to protecting the innocent. His story is one of resilience, innovation, and the belief that true heroism comes not from powers but from courage, discipline, and the will to act.
Night Thrasher is a Controller who plays a crucial role for the Daring Warrior team in Crucible and Battleworld game modes. His passive abilities prevent opponents from increasing their own Speed or reducing the Speed of Daring Warrior allies in these modes. Until he takes his first turn, enemies are also unable to manipulate the Speed Bar, gain Speed Up, or apply Slow to any Daring Warrior character, effectively shutting down enemy speed control at the start of combat.
With his Special, Night Thrasher grants his entire team 2 Deflect and 2 Deathproof, greatly increasing their survivability. On his own turn, if he has Deathproof, he applies Offense Up to himself and to a random ally who doesn’t already have it, boosting the team’s offensive power.
Night Thrasher’s control doesn’t stop there. He can remove all Charged effects from all enemies, apply Trauma, and clear all Battlefield Effects from both sides. In Crucible and Battleworld, he becomes even more disruptive—he can reduce the duration of all positive effects on enemies, apply Disrupted, and inflict Ability Block specifically on enemy Controller characters.
These abilities make Night Thrasher a versatile and indispensable asset for the Daring Warriors, capable of controlling the flow of battle, weakening the enemy, and greatly enhancing his own team’s survivability and damage potential.
With his Basic, Night Thrasher attacks the primary target for 270% Piercing damage and clears 2 positive effects from that enemy. He then chains the attack to one adjacent enemy, dealing 220% Piercing damage and clearing 2 positive effects from them as well. If the chained enemy counterattacks, the chain is broken and does not continue. This makes Night Thrasher’s Basic a strong tool for stripping away enemy buffs while dealing solid damage.
When Night Thrasher uses his Special, which costs only 3 Ability Energy and can be activated on his first turn, he attacks the primary target and all enemies in that character’s row for 300% damage. In addition to the damage, he applies Bleed and Defense Down to all affected enemies, making them more vulnerable to future attacks of Night Thrasher’s teammates.
After the assault, Night Thrasher grants 2 Deflect and 2 Deathproof to himself and all allies, significantly boosting the team’s survivability and resilience.
Night Thrasher’s Ultimate costs 8 Ability Energy and, like his Special, can be used on his very first turn. With this ability, he attacks all enemies for 400% Piercing damage, clears all Charged effects from them, and applies Trauma. He also clears all Battlefield Effects on both sides, resetting the combat environment for both allies and enemies.
In Crucible or Battleworld, if Night Thrasher has at least three Daring Warrior allies, the Ultimate becomes even more powerful: it reduces the duration of all positive effects on all enemies by 2, applies Disrupted to everyone, and inflicts Ability Block on two random Controller enemies with the highest Speed. In those game modes, the attack gains +300% extra Focus, is Unavoidable, and cannot be blocked.
This makes Night Thrasher’s Ultimate a devastating tool for controlling the battlefield and crippling enemy teams in high-stakes game modes.
His Passive provides critical control over the flow of battle, especially in Crucible and Battleworld. Until Night Thrasher takes his first turn, neither he nor any Daring Warrior ally can gain Slow, and enemies are unable to gain Speed Up. If Night Thrasher is joined by at least three Daring Warrior allies, enemies also cannot fill or reduce the Speed Bar for themselves, their allies, or their opponents—effectively shutting down most speed manipulation at the start of combat (this is also effective only until he takes his first turn).
On each of his turns, if Night Thrasher has Deathproof, he applies Offense Up to himself and to a random ally who doesn’t already have it, boosting the team’s offensive output.
Additionally, in Crucible or Battleworld, with three or more Daring Warrior allies, enemies cannot have their Speed increased except through positive effects, and Night Thrasher and his team cannot have their Speed reduced except by negative effects. This makes Night Thrasher a vital anchor for Speed and momentum control, helping the Daring Warriors maintain the upper hand throughout the battle.

Jessica Jones is a Marvel character known for her resilience, raw strength, and sharp wit. Once a promising superhero, Jessica’s life took a dramatic turn after a series of traumatic events, leading her to step away from the traditional hero path. Instead, she carved out her own place in New York City as a tough, no-nonsense private investigator, using her abilities to help those who can’t help themselves.
Gifted with superhuman strength and durability, Jessica is capable of incredible feats, from overpowering dangerous criminals to surviving attacks that would incapacitate most people. Despite her powers, it’s her determination and strong sense of justice that truly set her apart. She is fiercely independent and unafraid to challenge authority or take on powerful adversaries, often placing herself in harm’s way to protect others.
Jessica’s investigative skills, street smarts, and personal experience with trauma make her a valuable asset to any team. As a member of the Daring Warriors, she brings not only her formidable powers but also her unwavering loyalty and ability to cut through deception. Whether uncovering hidden threats or standing on the front lines, Jessica Jones is a force to be reckoned with—proving that true heroism comes from strength of character as much as physical power.
Jessica Jones is a Controller who excels at supporting her team by generating additional Ability Energy, enabling her allies to use their abilities more frequently. She can cleanse all negative effects from herself and all allies, providing crucial debuff removal in tough situations. Jessica can also grant Barrier to herself and the entire team, with A-Force and Daring Warrior allies receiving an even stronger Barrier than others.
In addition to her defensive capabilities, Jessica can apply Defense Up and Immunity to herself and to her key allies, significantly increasing their survivability. Offensively, she can strip all positive effects from the primary and adjacent targets, preventing enemies from benefiting from their own buffs and turning the tide of battle.
Her Passive grants extra Resistance to herself and her allies, making it harder for enemies to apply negative effects. When used in War Offense, Jessica can also remove Taunt from A-Force allies who drop below 50% health, saving them from further targeted attacks at critical moments.
Overall, Jessica Jones serves as a buffer and energy provider for her team, offering utility that makes her valuable in a wide range of scenarios. Her mix of cleansing, energy generation, and buff control ensures that she remains a key support character, especially for A-Force and Daring Warrior lineups.
Jessica Jones attacks the primary target for 220% damage with her Basic. She then has a 50% chance to perform one or two bonus attacks, each dealing 170% damage. After her attack, she generates 1 Ability Energy for a random Defender or A-Force ally—or for herself—if they are not already at full energy. Each of her attacks also has a 50% chance to generate 1 Ability Energy for herself or a random ally, providing valuable support and allowing her team to use their abilities more often.
When Jessica Jones activates her Special, she immediately clears all negative effects from herself and every ally, providing essential cleansing for the entire team. She then generates 1 Ability Energy for each Defender or A-Force ally, and 4 Ability Energy for random allies, ensuring the team can access their abilities more quickly.
Next, Jessica Barriers herself and all A-Force and Daring Warrior allies for 20% of her Max Health, while the rest of her allies receive Barrier equal to 10% of her Max Health. She also applies +1 Defense Up (up to a maximum of 3 turns) and Immunity to herself and all A-Force and Daring Warrior allies, significantly improving their survivability and resistance to enemy debuffs.
This Special can be used on her first turn and costs 4 Ability Energy, making it a powerful opening move for any battle, in case she or her allies have some debufs which needs to be cleared.
After Jessica uses her Ultimate, she attacks the primary and adjacent targets for 400% damage, clearing all positive effects from those enemies. After this powerful strike, she applies +1 Defense Up (up to a maximum of 3 turns) to herself and all A-Force and Daring Warrior allies, further boosting their defenses.
She then calls for an assist from the A-Force or Daring Warrior ally with the highest Damage, maximizing the team’s offensive potential. Additionally, Jessica generates 1 Ability Energy for herself to keep her abilities cycling.
This Ultimate is extremely hard to resist, as Jessica gains +100,000% Extra Focus for this attack. It costs 5 Ability Energy and can be used on her first turn, making it a strong opener in any battle, in case enemies have some buffs we need to clear.
Through her Passive, Jessica Jones gains +20% Resistance, making her more resilient against enemy debuffs. All City allies also receive +20% Resistance, while every other ally on the team gains +10% Resistance, boosting the whole squad with Resistance increase.
On War Offense, Jessica’s Passive provides even more support: whenever she or any A-Force ally with Taunt drops below 50% Max Health, Taunt is cleared from that character, helping to protect vulnerable allies from focused attacks. Additionally, at the start of each of her turns in War Offense, she applies +1 Defense Up (up to a maximum of 3 turns) to herself and all Secret Defender and A-Force allies, further reinforcing the team’s defenses.
Speedball
Speedball, whose real name is Robbie Baldwin, is a vibrant and energetic hero in the Marvel universe, best known for his ability to manipulate kinetic energy. After a laboratory accident exposed him to extra-dimensional energy, Robbie gained the unique power to absorb kinetic force and redirect it as explosive energy bursts. This ability not only allows him to bounce around the battlefield at incredible speeds but also makes him nearly immune to conventional physical attacks, as incoming blows simply fuel his powers.
Known for his upbeat personality and quick wit, Speedball brings a sense of optimism and levity to any team he joins. Despite facing personal challenges and moments of self-doubt—especially in the aftermath of the events that led to the formation of the New Warriors—Robbie remains dedicated to using his powers for good. He is a skilled combatant, combining agility, unpredictability, and relentless motion to keep enemies off balance.
As a member of the Daring Warriors, Speedball’s kinetic abilities make him a disruptive force on the battlefield. He excels at creating chaos among enemy ranks, bouncing from target to target, and turning the momentum of battle in his team’s favor. His resilience and energy are invaluable assets, making him both a formidable fighter and a source of inspiration for his allies.
Speedball is a Brawler who offers both strong control and valuable buffing capabilities to his team. Offensively, he can apply Bleed, Heal Block, Ability Block, and even reduce the duration of Safeguard on enemy targets, as well as inflict Stun, making him highly disruptive to enemy strategies.
At the same time, Speedball can apply Safeguard, Defense Up, and Speed Up to himself and his Daring Warrior allies, boosting their survivability and Speed.
Passively, upon spawning, Speedball grants Barrier to himself and all Daring Warrior allies, providing immediate protection. In Crucible and Battleworld, he goes even further—lowering 100% of the enemy Max Barrier (essentially negating it), preventing opponents from assisting, and granting himself and his Daring Warrior allies immunity to Ability Block and Defense Down.
This mix of offensive disruption and team-wide support makes Speedball an essential asset for the Daring Warriors, capable of both weakening the opposition and keeping his allies in fighting shape.
With his Basic, Speedball attacks the primary target for 240% Piercing damage and applies Bleed. After the initial strike, he performs a Bonus Attack for 100% Piercing damage and applies Bleed again. This allows him to quickly stack Bleed effects on his target while dealing solid damage.
When Speedball uses his Special, he attacks the primary and adjacent targets for 420% Piercing damage, applying 2 Bleed for 2 turns and Heal Block for 2 turns to each affected enemy. The primary target also receives Ability Block for 2 turns, preventing them from using their abilities.
After the attack, Speedball grants Safeguard, Defense Up, and Speed Up to himself and all Daring Warrior allies for 2 turns, enhancing their protection and mobility.
In Crucible or Battleworld, if Speedball is joined by at least three Daring Warrior allies, the Special becomes even more potent: Ability Block for 2 turns is also applied to any adjacent Villain enemies, and the Villain Brawler enemy with the most Speed Bar is struck for 240% Piercing damage and receives Ability Block for 2 turns. Additionally, in these modes, the attack cannot miss, ensuring reliable disruption.
Special costs 5 Ability Energy and can be used on Speedball’s first turn, setting the tone for control and support right from the start of the battle.
Speedball’s Ultimate is a powerful single-target attack that costs 8 Ability Energy. While it is normally available on his third turn, the Ability Energy Jessica Jones provides will almost always allow him to use it on his second turn.
When activated, Speedball attacks the primary target for 500% Piercing damage, flips all of their positive effects into negative ones, and applies Bleed, Heal Block, and Stun—each for 2 turns. This devastating assault not only inflicts massive damage but also leaves the enemy heavily debuffed and unable to play (in most cases).
In Crucible or Battleworld, if Speedball has at least three Daring Warrior allies, the Ultimate also reduces the duration of Safeguard on the primary target by 2, making it even easier to land debuffs and follow-up attacks. This ability gives Speedball incredible control over dangerous enemies, ensuring his team can focus down key threats with precision.
Passive provides crucial buffs for both Speedball and his Daring Warrior team. On spawn, he grants Barrier to himself and all Daring Warrior allies equal to 30% of his Max Health, giving the team a strong shield right at the start of the battle.
In Crucible or Battleworld, if Speedball is joined by at least three Daring Warrior allies, his passive becomes even more powerful: he lowers the Max Barrier of all enemies by 100%, effectively negating their Barriers increase. This means that enemies will only have Barrier amounts as specified in their kits—they won’t be able to passively increase their Barriers through the Fortifier ISO-8 class or through abilities. Additionally, enemies are prevented from using Passive Assists, and Speedball, along with all Daring Warrior allies, becomes immune to Ability Block and Defense Down.
These effects make Speedball’s passive an essential foundation for the team’s survivability and control, especially in high-stakes game modes.
Combat Tips & Tricks
The Daring Warrior team stands out by featuring an MSF original character, Eclipse, which immediately makes them significant—MSF originals are known for their strength and broad utility across multiple game modes. Unlike most teams that are specialized for only one mode, Daring Warriors are built for two game modes (Crucible and Battleworld), giving them increased value and utility right from the start.
While not an exceptionally fast team—Eclipse is their quickest member with a Speed of 128—they are still highly effective in their specialized modes. In Crucible and Battleworld, they completely shut down all forms of enemy Speed stat manipulation. Furthermore, until Night Thrasher takes his first turn, opponents cannot manipulate with Speed Bar or apply Slow to the Daring Warriors. This unique control, combined with the fact that they start battles with Safeguard, Defense Up, and Barrier, and are immune to Ability Block and Defense Down, makes them remarkably resilient and gives them top-tier mitigation even without relying on speed.
Beyond these defensive strengths, Daring Warriors also prevent enemies from assisting each other, reduce enemy Barriers, and, via Eclipse’s passive, open each battle by automatically attacking the enemy Protector with the highest Speed Bar, applying Trauma and Silence. This disruptive opening move can, for example, stop Mephisto from empowering his team or debuffing the Daring Warriors with his first action, and it neutralizes other powerful Protectors in Crucible like Cannonball, Nova (Sam Alexander), Juggernaut, Captain Britain, Red Guardian, Sebastian Shaw, Living Mummy, and more—denying them any buffs or the ability to inflict negatives on the Daring Warriors at the start of the match.
This combination of effects is one of the team’s defining features and is a key reason they are poised for dominance in Cosmic Crucible, while also being highly competitive in Battleworld. For Battleworld, running the full Daring Warrior lineup is ideal to maximize their synergies and unique bonuses. In Crucible, there’s even potential to swap out one of the reworked members (Daredevil or Jessica Jones) for a strong plug-and-play character to further enhance the team’s performance.
Eclipse plays first in the Daring Warrior team and typically opens with her Special, granting herself the New Moon buff. Thanks to this effect, enemies receive Blind when their turns come up, greatly reducing their effectiveness and accuracy. Eclipse can also heal the entire team, reduce the duration of Trauma on all allies by 2, cleanse Darkness from herself and the team, and while she’s alive, prevent Darkness from being applied to anyone on her side—an essential counter when facing teams like Knull. On top of that, she flips all negative effects from herself and her Daring Warrior allies into positives and applies Immunity, ensuring the team remains protected from further debuffs. She also generates 2 Ability Energy for herself, and with Jessica’s passive Ability Energy generation, Eclipse is able to quickly cycle her Special again.
Night Thrasher follows up with his Ultimate, which clears all Battlefield Effects from both sides, deals significant damage to all enemies, and applies Trauma, preventing them from cleansing their debuffs. He also reduces the duration of all positive effects on enemies by 2, applies Disrupted to block buffs, and targets two enemy Controllers with the highest Speed with Ability Block, shutting down their utility.
Daredevil, with his Ultimate, delivers massive damage to all enemies and applies Slow, hampering their turn order. Speedball buffs the entire team with Speed Up, Defense Up, and Safeguard, making them faster and more resilient. At the same time, he applies Bleed and Heal Block to primary and adjacent targets, and inflicts Ability Block on the primary target (and on multiple enemies if there are Villains present).
Jessica Jones supports the team by providing additional Ability Energy, granting Barrier, and cleansing negative effects from all allies. Her support ensures the Daring Warriors can keep using their powerful skills and remain protected.
This makes the Daring Warrior team a compact and cohesive unit that denies opponents the chance to inflict meaningful harm while maintaining strong control over the battle. It’s also important to note that, in most cases, enemy Protectors who would normally gain Taunt at the start of combat are prevented from doing so due to Eclipse’s passive opening attack, which applies Silence and Trauma. This allows Daring Warrior characters to freely target whichever enemies they choose—especially valuable for Eclipse and Speedball, whose attacks hit primary and adjacent targets. This scenario occurs in most cases, specifically when the opposing team contains only a single pre-Taunt character. In these situations, Eclipse’s passive attack at the start of battle will target the fastest Protector, preventing them from gaining Taunt, all other buffs, and applying any debuffs with their opening moves. However, if there are two pre-Taunt characters on the enemy team, only the faster one will be targeted and shut down in this way, while the slower Protector may still be able to activate their Taunt and other effects. This nuance is important to consider when planning your strategy against teams with multiple Protectors.
Overall, the Daring Warriors combine layered protection, energy generation, and battlefield control, making them an elite team for both Crucible and Battleworld.
