Nightstalker
Introduction
The Nightstalker team is led by the fan-favorite character – Blade. He joins Man-Thing and Oath, as well as reworked Moon Knightt and Agatha Harkness to form this new Mystic Raid team.
Upon entering the game, Nightstalkers quickly became one of the top teams and are highly effective in all game modes. This team excels in sustainability and offensive capabilities, allowing them to handle various challenges. Their impressive speed and control capabilities will enable them to outmaneuver some of the toughest opponents, especially in Raids.

Utility
- Alliance Raids
The Nightstalkers are a Raid team designed specifically for Mystic Raid nodes. They perform exceptionally well in Orchis Raids due to their additional bonuses, making them the top choice for the Mystic lanes of Orchis Raids.
Apart from Raids, they are also highly effective in War and Cosmic Crucible. Blade, as the team’s de-facto leader, offers the highest plug-and-play value and can easily be integrated into almost any other team. However, the other team members are also very strong, especially when the team is fully assembled, making them extremely versatile.
Blade can be an incredible option for Dark Dimensions. Oath can also perform very well in DD, and they can both be improved by adding Man-Thing to the team (although Man-Thing is Global, so this trio will only work in DD8). As a solo character, Man-Thing is not a good choice for Dark Dimensions
Team Placement & Turn Order
Place Man-Thing in one corner as he is a protector, and Moon Knight can be placed next to him. Put Oath in the middle, Blade next to her, and Agatha in the other corner. It’s important to position the character whose follow-up is most useful next to Agatha, as they will assist her every time Agatha uses her Basic. In Raids, Oath can also be placed next to Agatha because she can apply Exposed. However, Blade is more useful than Agatha overall because he reduces the target’s Speed Bar with his follow-up attack.
Turn Order:
- Blade – 127 Speed
- Oath – 126 Speed
- Agatha Harkness – 114 Speed
- Moon Knight – 105 Speed
- Man-Thing – 95 Speed
Iso-8 Classes
- Agatha Harkness – Skirmisher/Raider
- Blade – Striker/Skirmisher
- Oath – Raider/Striker
- Moon Knight – Raider/Striker
- Man-Thing – Raider/Fortifier
Agatha can be a Skirmisher or a Raider. However, it is better to give her the Skirmisher class because that way we have a Skirmisher in the team who can remove buffs and apply additional Vulnerable effects.
Blade is an excellent Striker. When we upgrade his Awakened Passive, he can also be an excellent Skirmisher or a Raider due to his versatile kit.
Iso-8 Class for Oath is a Raider because she attacks more targets with her moves, but in Raids she can also be a Striker because, with her Iso-8 follow-up attack, she can apply Exposed.
Moon Knight is a Raider. He can also be a Striker because he gains buffs with the follow-up attack, but it is better to give him the Raider Class because he attacks more targets and can do brutal damage if he manages to land multiple critical hits and as a Raider, he will help his team more.
Man-Thing is also a Raider for the same reasons. Since he is a protector, he can also be a Fortifier to strengthen his mitigation.
Team T4’s
Essential
- Man-Thing – Passive, Special, and Ultimate
- Moon Knight– Ultimate and Special
- Oath – Passive, Ultimate, and Basic
- Blade – Passive, Basic, Ultimate, and Special
- Agatha Harkness – Passive and Ultimate
Man-Thing
Passive – This is the most important upgrade for the entire Nightstalker team. Man-Thing and all Nightstalker allies get +20% Speed (up from +5%), and Speed is crucial in a turn-based game. With this upgrade, Blade, for example, will have a Speed slightly above 154.
With his Special ability maxed, Man-Thing will apply Stun to any target he hits that has Slow. He can hit multiple targets with his Special, so he will Stun all of them if they all have Slow.
Maximizing his Ultimate ability will enable Man-Thing to gain Safeguard (2 turns) in Raids, and in all game modes, he will remove 2 negative effects from himself and all Nightstalker allies. This is a very important upgrade as it strengthens him as a protector in raids and removes negatives from his team in all game modes, thus improving the mitigation of the entire team.
Moon Knight
Ultimate – This upgrade provides more damage, extends the duration of negative effects to 2 turns (previously 1 turn), and removes all positive effects (only works if Moon has 3 or more Nightstalker allies) from each enemy (previously 3 positive effects). This upgrade is important as it allows Moon Knight to deal increased damage to opponents and prolong the duration of the debuffs he inflicts on them. Also sometimes there are enemies with more than 3 positive effects, and clearing everything can be crucial.
Special – This upgrade increases the Rebound Chain to 6-7 adjacent targets (previously 3-5 adjacent targets). With this enhancement, the damage inflicted by Moon Knight’s Special ability can be doubled.
Oath
Maxed Passive allows her to fill the Speed Bar by 5% for herself and all allies on spawn (only On Offense). This ability is similar to Kang’s and can be crucial in many fights. It also increases the Piercing that Oath passively inflicts to the most injured enemy with Exposed on her or any Nightstalker ally Turn end.
With the maxed Ultimate, she does more Piercing and in Raids applies additional Bleed and Trauma to the primary target, and 3 Bleed (up from 2) and Trauma to all other enemies. This upgrade prevents enemies from removing debuffs in Raids. An extra stack of Bleed is always helpful.
With the maxed Basic, Oath always applies Exposed to the primary target in Raids (up from 50% chance) and inflicts additional Piercing. This upgrade is essential for Raids.
Blade
Blade can Awaken all of his abilities, so it is essential to maximize all of them.
By upgrading his Passive, Blade can clear Defense Up and apply Defense Down to each attacked target on a successful attack. When upgraded to Awakened Passive, Blade gives +10% Crit Chance to the entire team and gains Assist Now on the next turn after himself or or ally deals a Critical attack.
A maxed Basic allows Blade to deal more Piercing damage and repeat his attack once, reducing the target’s Speed Bar even further. The Awakened Basic provides +20% Extra Crit Damage, allowing Blade to deal even more damage if he Crits.
Blade’s maxed Ultimate deals more Piercing damage and steals 20% of Health from the primary target, increasing his sustain. An Awakened Ultimate applies Blind (2 turns) to primary and secondary targets, improving control.
Blade’s Special Ability deals greater Piercing damage and applies Slow to all secondary targets. The Awakened Special removes all negatives from Blade and one negative effect from all allies.
Agatha Harkness
Agatha’s maxed Passive provides a +25% Drain to the entire Nightstalker Team, enabling the team to heal when attacking. Her Ultimate strengthens the Barrier she receives after using it, and she will also apply Stun to the highest damage Hero Mystic Blaster and Hero Mystic Controller enemies. This grants her more control over her opponents, which can be crucial in battles.
Recommended
- Moon Knight – Passive and Basic
- Oath – Special
Moon Knight
Moon Knight’s Passive can be quite useful as it increases his Health by 20%. While it’s not essential for his functionality, it is highly recommended.
With the Basic at maximum level, Moon Knight will always apply a random positive effect for 2 turns (up from a 50% chance). While it’s possible to function without this upgrade, we recommend having it.
Oath
Upgrading Special to level 7 will enable Oath to apply Heal Block to the primary and adjacent targets, preventing them from healing. Additionally, it will extend the duration of Ability Block on the primary target to 2 turns (up from 1 turn). This is also an essential upgrade, especially for game modes other than Raids, but because this team is T4-hungry, this upgrade can be done only after all of the essential upgrades are completed.
Red Stars and Diamonds
Getting 7 Red Stars on newer characters (Blade, Oath, and Man-Thing) shouldn’t be complicated, as long as you open Elite Red Star Orbs when they are featured there. Agatha Harkness and Moon Knight are older characters so plenty of players might have them at high Red Stars already.
You could also get Red Stars for them from the Incursion Campaign:
- 7 Red Stars for Moon Knight – Incursion 3-5
- 7 Red Stars for Agatha Harkness – Incursion 8-3
Agatha Harkness and Moon Knight can also benefit from having Diamonds on them since they should be maxed out for all of the long-time players. We recommend equipping both of them with multiple Diamonds (in most cases, 2 Diamonds will be enough).
When the three new characters become farmable and free-to-play players are able to collect 7 Yellow/Rew Stars for them, we also recommend using Diamonds for them, focusing on Blade first.

Team Mechanics
The Nightstalker team is designed to be the best Mystic Raid team, particularly of the Orchis Raids era. They also have strong value outside Raids, performing well in Crucible and War. Furthermore, Blade and Oath have a high plug-and-play value, allowing them to be effectively combined with other characters/teams.
Man-Thing
Man-Thing is a protector who can gain Taunt and Immunity on Spawn if he’s with his team. He can also apply Slow with all of his attacks and protect the team from Ability Blocks in Raids before he takes his first turn
His Basic attacks the primary target and applies Slow and Bleed (except for Daredevil). After that, he gains 2 Regeneration and grants Defense Up to the most injured non-summoned Nightstalker ally without Defense Up.
His Special attack targets the primary target and adjacent targets. If any target has Slow, he applies Stun to that target. Additionally, he applies Slow to the primary and adjacent targets, removes all negative effects from the Nightstalker team, and applies Defense Up to them instead.
With his Ultimate attack, Man-Thing targets all opponents and extends the duration of their negative effects (excluding Ability Block, Stun, and Trauma) by 1. He also applies Slow to all opponents. After that, Man-Thing gains Taunt for 2 turns, applies Defense Up to himself and all Nightstalker allies for 2 turns, and clears 2 negative effects from them.
In Raids, he also clears Disrupted from himself and gains Safeguard for 2 turns before gaining Taunt.
Individually, Man-Thing is not a pre-Taunt Protector, but when he’s with 3 or more Nightstalker allies, he gains Immunity and Taunt on Spawn. On any enemy turn end, he barriers himself for 10% of his Max Health, and as long as he is above 50% Max Health, he cannot be Stunned. If he drops below 50% Max Health while he has Taunt, he removes Taunt from himself, gains Stealth, and 3 Regeneration.
Man-Thing’s Passive ability gives +20% Speed to the entire team. In Raids, before Man-Thing takes a turn, enemy Protector characters cannot gain Immunity, and the Nightstalker team is immune to Ability Block before he takes a turn.
Man-Thing provides +20% Speed to the team.
Moon Knight
Moon Knight is a Brawler on the Nightstalker team, capable of inflicting negative effects and dealing significant damage. His Basic attack can grant him one random positive effect (Counter, Offense Up, or Speed Up). When attacking an ally, he deals reduced damage to Nightstalker characters.
With His Special, he attacks the primary target and rebounds to 6-7 adjacent targets, with a 100% Crit Chance on enemies with negative effects. This attack cannot be countered in Raids. Moon Knight’s Ultimate attack hits all enemies, applying Heal Block, and has a 50% chance to apply up to 3 additional negative effects for 2 turns (Bleed, Bind, Defense Down, Disrupted, Offense Down, or Slow.) If there are 3 or more Nightstalker allies, this attack removes all positive effects from opponents and becomes Unavoidable. Moon Knight also gains +100%-200% additional Focus on this attack, making the debuffs he applies difficult to resist.
Moon Knight’s Passive abilities include gaining +15% Damage Reduction, +40% Resistance, +30% Max Health, and +50% Damage. He cannot block, but if he gains Deflect or Minor Deflect, he will flip them into Offense Up and will gain +20% Speed Bar.
Oath
Oath is a controller who can apply Exposed to opponents, steal Health from them, and apply Bleed + Heal Block with all her attacks. With her Basic, she hits the primary target and inflicts Bleed and Heal Block. In Raids, she also applies Exposed to the primary target. When compelled to attack an ally, Oath does not apply Exposed or any negative effects to Nightstalker characters. This attack cannot be countered or dodged.
Her Special steals 20% Health from the primary target (40% in Raids) and redistributes it to herself, bypassing Heal Block. It also applies Ability Block (2 turns) to the primary target, attacks the primary and adjacent targets and applies 2 Bleed and Heal Block. Oath’s Special cannot be dodged. This is a powerful ability that significantly weakens one of the opponents and prevents them from using Abilities.
Her Ultimate attack will hit all enemies and will apply Exposed, 2 Bleed, and Heal Block to the primary target. In Raids, she applies additional Bleed and Trauma to the primary target and 3 Bleed, Heal Block, and Trauma to all other enemies. This attack deals extra damage against opponents with Safeguard and cannot be blocked, counterattacked, or dodged. This is her only way to apply Exposed outside of Raids, so selecting the correct primary target will be crucial.
On Spawn, Oath fills her own and all allies’ Speed Bars by 5%, but it only works on Offense (similar to Kang). At the end of her turn or any Nightstalker ally’s turn, she attacks the most injured enemy with Exposed for 240% Piercing and reduces the duration of all positive effects by 1. Any positive effect that has a duration of 0 expires instantly, including Safeguard. In Raids, she copies and clears 2 random negative effects from herself and all Nightstalker allies to that Exposed enemy afterward. Also in Raids, Oath applies Regeneration to herself and all Nightstalker allies.
On any enemy death, Oath generates 1 Ability Energy for herself and all Nightstalker allies who were not at full energy at the start of this turn. In Raids, she fills the Speed Bar by 25% for herself and all Nightstalker allies.
Additionally, Oath generates 6 Ability Energy for the entire team On Spawn, and on an enemy Controller’s turn she applies Safeguard to the entire team, preventing opponents from removing buffs from Nightstalkers. But this only works in Raids.
With her Passive, she makes the Nightstalker a killer Raid team and the sustain becomes incredible because, before each new fight, everyone will be able to use their Abilities.
Blade
Blade is a versatile Brawler who is the de-facto leader of the Nightstalker team. He has exceptional plug-and-play abilities, making him a valuable addition to any teams. All four of his abilities have the Awakened upgrade, significantly boosting their effectiveness and making him extremely dangerous. Moreover, all of his abilities are also Unavoidable, cannot be blocked, and ignore Defense Up, allowing Blade to always hunt down his targets and apply negative effects with ease.
Blade’s Basic attack hits the primary target and reduces their Speed Bar by 10%, then repeats the attack, resulting in a 20% Speed Bar reduction. The Awakened Basic ability gives Blade +20% Extra Crit Damage on this attack.
Like Agatha, Blade’s attacks deal Piercing damage, meaning they ignore the opponent’s Armor. His Special attack targets the primary and adjacent enemies, removing Speed Up from them and applying Slow. The Awakened Special upgrade allows Blade to remove all negative effects from himself and one negative effect from all allies.
Blade’s Ultimate attack hits the primary target, reducing their Speed Bar by 25% and stealing 20% of Health (bypassing Heal Block, meaning that it will always heal Blade). It then targets the primary and adjacent enemies, reducing their Speed Bars by 25%, clearing Immunity, and applying Disrupted. If promoted to Awakened, Blade applies Blind (2 turns) to primary and adjacent targets. Picking the correct primary target with this ability is essential as that target will suffer colossal damage and will have their Speed bar reduced by 50%.
Blade has the ability to prevent characters killed by him from being revived. Whenever he successfully attacks someone, Blade will clear Defense Up and apply Defense Down. At the end of any turn, he flips Slow and Offense Down on 2 random Nightstalker allies or himself that have Slow or Offense Down. This is incredibly potent as it essentially prevents his team from having Slow and Offense Down, allowing Nightstalkers to always be in top form, but these effects can still be negated if the enemy applies Trauma to Blade’s allies.
He deals additional Piercing damage to Vampire enemies and grants a 30% Drain for the entire Nightstalker team with his Passive ability. If his Passive is Awakened, Blade can assist after each ally Crit, but the Assist happens on the following ally turn. He also boosts Crit Chance by 10% for himself and all allies, increasing the chance for a Crit for the whole team and, therefore, his chance to gain Assist Now.
Blade provides +30% Drain to the team.
Agatha Harkness
Agatha Harkness is a Controller who excels at dealing damage to opponents and increasing her team’s sustainability and resilience. Her Basic attack hits the primary target with Piercing damage and calls a random adjacent Nightstalker ally to also attack the primary target. After using her Basic attack, Agatha applies +1 Deflect to herself and all Nightstalker allies.
All of Agatha’s attacks deal Piercing damage. Her Special attack targets the primary enemy and applies Slow. If the target already has Slow, Agatha does a bonus attack and applies Stun. If the target already has Stun, she makes another bonus attack and extends the duration of all negative effects by 1 (excluding Ability Block and Stun). This attack allows Agatha to control an opponent, and it’s best used on a target with Slow to Stun it.
When Agatha uses her Ultimate, she attacks all opponents three times and applies Heal Block and Offense Down (both for 2 turns) to all of them. Her Ultimate also applies Stun to Hero Mystic Blaster and Controller enemies with the highest Damage stat. Additionally, Agatha heals herself and all allies for 35% of her Max Health and provides a Barrier for herself and all Nightstalker allies for 30% of her Max Health. The Ultimate costs 10 Ability Energy, but Agatha gains 2 Ability Energy for each Mystic enemy (up to a max of 6), allowing her to potentially recover 6 Ability Energy if there are at least 3 Mystic enemies. This powerful attack not only cripples the offensive potential of opponents but also has the potential to Stun some of them. The attack gains +50% Extra Focus for each Mystic Enemy.
Agatha passively gains 2 Deathproof when she spawns. When she or any Nightstalker ally drops below 30% Max Health for the first time, she takes various actions, including clearing Disrupted, flipping 4 negative effects into positive, applying Defense Up and Stealth, and providing Barrier to that character for 30% of her Max Health. When an enemy drops below 30% Max Health for the first time, she attacks that opponent with 100% Piercing damage, flips 3 positive effects into negatives, applies Disrupted to that character, and applies +1 Deflect to herself and all Nightstalker allies. Finally, at the end of any turn, if she has Taunt, Agatha gains Stealth.
Agatha Harkness provides +50% Focus and +25% Drain to the team.
Combat Tips & Tricks
Nightstalkers excel in Raids, so you shouldn’t have major problems in that game mode, regardless of your playstyle. Position Blade next to Agatha to assist her. We recommend using Blade because he can reduce the target’s Speed Bar, but Oath is also a good choice as it applies Exposed to the target in raids. When using Man-Thing’s Special, target enemies with Slow to Stun them. Feel free to use all Abilities, as Oath Passive ensures they’ll be ready for the next Raid fight. A well-built Nightstalker team can Sim even the toughest Orchis Raid difficulties, which is a great timesaver.
Blade can manipulate the Speed Bar of the most dangerous opponents, preventing them from taking turns, while Oath fills the Nightstalker team’s Speed Bar whenever they eliminate an enemy, so a good strategy in Raids is to often target the weakest enemies to quickly eliminate them.
Blade’s Ultimate will deal a huge amount of damage to the primary target and will rewind their Speed Bar by 50%, so selecting the correct target with this ability can often be crucial. Additionally, his Special can apply Slow, so if you know that your team already has the Speed advantage, you can start with his Special and then follow up with Man-Thing’s Special, which can Stun all targets that have Slow.
Oath’s Exposed Mechanic has the same decay effect as Thanos (Endgame), which can clear Safeguard and all other negative effects by reducing the duration of the positive effects. This can be a great help when we’re dealing with strong Pre-taunt characters, even outside of Raids. Starting with her Ultimate will allow her to apply Exposed, and after that, she would passively hit that target, reducing the duration of all positive effects, not to mention that the damage she deals with her passive attacks can also be quite significant.
