Biography

This is our Earth-616 version of Spider-Man, the one we all know and love. You all know the story: Radioactive spider bite, sticking to any surface, spidey sense, strength, speed, and agility proportional to an arachnid, the whole package.

This Spidey is a part of the Web-Warriors of Tokyo Webworld, dedicated to the preservation of the Web of Life and Destiny. However, since the Timestream Entanglement event, Peter Parker is swinging and dueling anybody who’s asking for trouble in this new arena.

Abilities

Normal Attack (Left Click): Spider-Power –Swing fists forward to strike, dealing extra damage to the enemy with a Spider-Tracer. There are different animations from different angles and they don’t do the same damage, for example if you are in the air it will do overhead that does a little bit more.

• Spectacular Spin (Q) – Launch Web-Clusters all around to damage enemies. Good when they are grouped up but also sometimes just to finish them off. They can stun you through it, so try to be fast and unpredictable with it. I also recommend swinging before using it because they will not have time to react.
  
  
• Web-Swing (LShift) – Shoot a strand of webbing to swing. This makes him the most mobile character in the game, with this ability you fly through the map in no time. Remember to turn off the auto swing because it’s far more versatile this way. You sometimes just want to cover short distances faster to escape danger, which you can’t do on auto mode.
  
  
• Web-Cluster (Right Click) – Shoot a Web-Cluster that deals damage and attaches a Spider-Tracer to the hit enemy. Only after you hit it you enable the rest of your combos. U don’t have an infinite amount but you don’t have to worry you only need to hit one. You will get better and better just some practice is needed.
  
  
• Get Over Here! (E) – Shoot webbing to reel in the hit enemy. If the enemy is tagged with a Spider-Tracer, Spider-Man will get pulled to them instead. If you are sure you are gonna hit it without Tracer its best use in this situation is to tool enemy into your team, but I recommend saving it for traced ones because it auto hits, and with all of his movement around it is hard to have perfect aim.
  
  
• Amazing Combo (F) – Launch an enemy upward, dealing extra damage to the enemy with Spider-Tracer. It has a big range and it’s very good after you pull yourself to them with his E.
  
  
• Thwip and Flip (Space) – Perform a double jump. Just one more way to be unpredictable. you just need to touch the ground after that you can do it again.
  
  
• Spider-Sense (Passive) – Give a warning of enemies that have been around. It’s good when you are trying to hide so you can be prepared.
  
  
• Wall Crawl (Passive) – Press Space to crawl on vertical surfaces, and press Left Click to run on them. This way you can position yourself in the spots that enemies don’t expect you from and surprise them. If you position yourself before fighting, on some wall and use the advantage of a third-person angle, you can react before they see you and combo them fast.

Strengths

An incredibly fast hero who is very hard to even see, let alone hit. He can demand so much attention that your team will feel like you have more players.

Weaknesses

Low damage in the long run so he can’t help that much in a mid fight.

Counters

Namor

Spidey has so many problems against Namor that he probably has nightmares about him.

The biggest problems are his turrets because Spidey doesn’t have damage or the time to deal with them, and they have aimbot so his main weapon, the movement, doesn’t help at all.

To be honest there is not much you can do then to wait for your team to deal with them before you go in.

And also if you hit him with your Get Over Here! (E) he can shield and you are in really big trouble.

Team-Ups

His team-up is also his best synergy hero Venom. Spidey gets a new ability that makes him so much better. He can now easily one-shot combo people by hitting his Web-Cluster (Right Click) first then Get Over Here! (E) after that Amazing Combo (F) and fast after the new ability that he gets from Venom Suit Expulsion (C). I know it sounds like this much ability will take so much time how can that be a one-shot? Well, Spidey can do it so fast it will be in a blink of an eye.

Synergy

Spider-Man is at his best with Dive compositions as he has no problems keeping up even with the most mobile heroes in the game.

Tips and Tricks

Do your best to be as annoying as possible.

Focus on isolated targets.

Use your movement abilities and never stand still.

Attack from flank and off angles and never overstay your welcome.

Learn combos, and practice a lot it takes time don’t get discouraged if you don’t succeed fast.

It takes time to learn maps, but it’s also very important so that you can move fluidly.
