Biography
Half-human and half-vampire, Eric Brooks walks between worlds, craving the very life force of his enemies. As night falls, Blade’s hunt begins as he wields the Swords of Dracula to become the nightmare of any foe who dares to bare their fangs.
Abilities:
- Blade’s kit is centered on vampiric melee aggression with toolkit flexibility:
- Blade Chopper (Primary 1): Slash forward with Dracula’s Sword to deal melee damage. It looks like a classic melee attack so you will need to get closer to the enemy.
- Hunting Gun (Primary 2): Fire an explosive shotgun round that bursts on impact, scattering shrapnel at range. This should have much more impact on close range, but could be useful to poke until u get in position to burst them down.
- Step and Chop (Shift): Sprint forward: This will depend a lot on the cooldown, but should be his best tool to get to the enemy faster.
- With shotgun: shoot enemy, applying a healing reduction debuff. This will be first debuff on the heal in the whole game, making him already a very strong character against some comps.
- With sword: slash enemy, slowing their movement. In combination with his shotgun, this will be a powerful tool, making it harder for your opponent to keep the distance from you.
- Blood Liberation (E): Activate vampiric bloodline—while active, all health becomes “Dracula’s blood.” You cannot receive healing, but restoring health via damage dealt is empowered. This could be amazing when you are in flank position and you can survive on your own.
- Damage Block (RMB): Enter sword stance to block and reduce incoming frontal damage. Another tool for protecting yourself until you get closer to them.
- Ultimate (Q): After a brief buildup, unsheathe the blade, charge forward for a heavy chop, and leave a spinning sword behind that repeatedly slices nearby enemies. Looks like devastating ult, something like Psylocke but more controllable.
