Biography

Considered a mutant for a long time, Wanda Maximoff, together with her late brother Pietro, discovered that they both originate from the Mind Infinity Stone. Wanda can control chaos magic to alter probabilities, and she also has telekinetic and telepathic abilities.

Now, while the Timestream Entanglement threatens to unwind all reality, Chaos Magic, along with only a few other cosmic powers, is what slows it down. However, universal disintegration is inevitable unless she and the others find a solution quickly.

Abilities

Normal Attack (Left Click): Chaos Control – Use Chaos Magic to attack enemies and restore Chaos Energy. Very easy to hit so you should focus on your movement freely while shooting. Feels great against characters that can move a lot and fast like Spider-Man or Star Lord because it has an aim lock that helps you to track them easily.

• Reality Erasure (Q) – Engage in free-flight while charging energy, then unleash it to deal massive damage. You are very vulnerable when casting this ability, so make sure to time it right! One of the ways is to call it for your friends so they can go in or protect you. For example, your Team Up Magneto can give you his Metal Bulwark (E) bubble shield that can protect you from incoming burst damage. Also, there is a good start with Doctor Strange that uses his teleport that you can go through, just make sure you start animation before you go in because it takes a lot of time actually to cast.
  
  
• Mystic Projection (LShift) – Enter the Projection state for free flight. Press again to exit early. She is immortal in this state so you can use it to avoid burst damage. Also very good in duels because you can cancel it enemy will never know when to be ready to shoot again. One more use is to get to higher ground and sometimes even contest characters like Iron Man and Storm.
  
  
• Dark Seal (E) – Land a hit on a target or the scene, or press again to generate a Force Field that periodically Stuns enemies within range. Amazing for stopping pushes and flankers and combining it with your Right Click because they become an easy target.
  
  
• Telekinesis (Space) – Hold Space to fall slowly. Really good for making you a hard target for slow projectile throwers.
  
  
• Chthonian Burst (Right Click) – Consume Chaos Energy to fire explosive magic missiles, damaging enemies. Her only long-range ability. You can not spam it because it recharges one by one slowly but don’t overthink it you still after all have four of them so you are allowed to miss sometimes 😉
  
  
• Chaotic Bond (Passive) – Team Up Ability – Scarlet Witch can infuse Chaos Energy into Magneto to enchant his greatsword. Upon receiving the Chaos Energy, Magneto can unleash its full force, striking down enemies with his enchanted greatsword. It’s even worth picking Scarlet just for this.

Strengths

Her left-click attack is strong against fast-moving squishy targets as she only needs to aim in their general direction and it will auto-lock on them.

She makes her Magneto pick a must because he becomes a God Tier.

Reliable damage that doesn’t require that much aim practice.

Weaknesses

She lacks range and her movement is very easy to track.

her ultimate animation is too long, but for a reason, if it isn’t then it would be op. I think it’s a fair balance.

Counters

Punisher, Namor

Scarlet even tho she has her LShift to move around the map, she is very slow and easy to track, and we know which hero is tracking god, The Punisher. And even if she somehow gets closer to him his shotgun will burst you in two shots.

I would recommend avoiding direct duel, and wait for the opportunity to get him with some of your teammates.

Any squishy that is easy to hit is a delight for Namor because his Trident hits like a truck. Here I recommend using your Lshift to fly up in the air and then her Space to fall down slowly and making yourself a harder target to hit with a projectile like his Trident is.

Team-Ups

Pairing Scarlet Witch with Magneto will make Magneto one of the highest damage-dealing Vanguards in the game as he gains an ability that allows him to do high, ranged damage with a large spread!

Synergy

Scarlet Witch is great in Brawl compositions. On top of that, her Team-Up partner can grant her a shield when she casts her ultimate as it takes a while to cast, during which she is very vulnerable.

Tips and Tricks

Look for flankers as they dive your strategists as you can easily focus them down, or, at the very least, make them run for their lives.

Save your Mystic Projection (LShift) to run away from dangerous situations, but to take high ground as well!

Combine her Left Click and Right Click to kill the enemy faster.

Even those she looks very easy she has a high skill cap because you have great abilities to outmaneuver your enemies.

If you see Magneto in your team, just pick Scarlet if you want an easy win.
