Intro

Blue Marvel is almost here, and the wait is nearly over! This cosmic powerhouse is about to join MARVEL Strike Force, bringing exciting new ways to enhance your roster. Get ready for special events and new opportunities to earn the Purple ISO-8 needed to unlock him—this is a launch you won’t want to miss. Prepare to channel the power of antimatter, because Blue Marvel is set to change the game.

Why is Blue Marvel such a big deal? He’s a versatile character who can fit into any team and excel in all game modes, whether you’re playing Offense or Defense. His attacks are truly powerful: they ignore Defense Up, cut through Safeguard and Immunity, and can even decrease the enemy’s Max Health. His Special ability can’t be blocked or dodged, and his Ultimate is completely unavoidable—every attack lands with antimatter-fueled precision.

Blue Marvel only gets stronger as the battle goes on, stacking huge boosts to Damage, Resistance, Speed, and Armor each turn. On Defense, he uses smart tactics like targeting the slowest enemies, launching team-wide attacks when opponents are Charged, and gaining Speed Bar at the start of battle to take control early. He’s also built to last, with constant healing, barriers, and sustain that make him tough to take down.

Target: Blue Marvel event starts on November 3rd, giving players the chance to recruit Blue Marvel. This event features 10 missions, and to complete it, players will need a minimum of 15 Purple Level 5 Iso-8 characters.

We can see that Target: Blue Marvel is structured just like a classic Dark Dimension. There are 10 missions filled with tough enemies, and you’ll fight until you either complete the mission or your team is defeated. If your characters are knocked out, their HP will be restored the next day, allowing you to pick up right where you left off. Just like previous Dark Dimensions, you’ll need to complete the entire event twice to earn all the rewards.

Requirements

Add Blue Marvel’s atomizing abilities to your roster during the Target: Blue Marvel event! This special event is available to players level 85 and above, and it goes live on November 3rd in the Events Section.

In this event, you’ll face challenging missions with persistent combat. You can make as many attempts as you need to complete each mission, and your team’s health will reset daily—so aim to make as much progress as possible each day!

To help you get ready, here’s a mission checklist to ensure your roster is prepared for the challenges ahead:

Upgrading one character to Purple Iso will take:

1 Crystal for each (Armor, Resistance, Health, Focus, Damage) and 7,500 T3 Level 1 Ions – Purple Iso-8 Level 1
3 Crystals for each (Armor, Resistance, Health, Focus, Damage), 50,000 T3 Level 1 Ions for fusing and 22,300 for upgrading – Purple Iso-8 Level 2

If you want to upgrade a character from Purple Iso-8 Level 3 to Purple Iso-8 Level 5—which is especially important since most of our top characters are already at Level 3—here’s what you’ll need for the upgrade:

If we assume that you’ll need to upgrade only 15 characters, the total resources required for upgrading those characters from Purple Iso-8 Level 3 to Purple Iso-8 Level 5 are:

Depending on which combat role traits you focus on—such as Controller, Brawler, Blaster, Fortifier, or Support—you’ll need different amounts of specific crystals for those roles. However, the total amount needed for each crystal type across your roster will be 1,080. This helps you plan your resource investment for upgrading 15 characters efficiently.

It’s important to pay attention to combat roles when upgrading your characters. If you have too many characters in one specific role and too few in others, you might end up with an imbalance in your crystal needs, since each combat role uses different crystals. However, there’s a solution: Orbs. T3 Iso-8 Orbs, and they allow you to target specific classes that you need. This means you don’t have to worry too much about perfectly balancing your combat roles—you can simply open orbs for the classes where you need more crystals. This flexibility makes it easier to manage your resources and upgrade the characters you want.

Knowing these requirements will help you plan your resources and make sure you’re prepared to upgrade your strongest and most essential characters to the next level.

Combat Mods

Starting from Mission 2, each mission will introduce one or more active combat modifiers that give certain characters special advantages during battle. Additionally, some missions will include game mode-specific modifiers to keep things interesting.

For example:

Missions 4 and 5 will have Arena modifiers active.
Missions 6 and 7 will feature Raid modifiers.
Missions 8 and 9 will include War modifiers.

Make sure to pay attention to these modifiers so you can build the best possible team for each mission and maximize your chances of success!

We can see that the combat modifiers in this event favor characters from three teams: Fantastic Four (MCU), Insidious Six, and Brimstone. At the time of the Target: Blue Marvel Event, these three teams are also some of the most important teams in the game. That means investing in their characters will definitely pay off, both for this event and for overall gameplay. Strengthening these teams is a smart move if you want to stay competitive and make the most of the event bonuses.

Race to Blue Marvel – Earn Red Stars

While Blue Marvel’s powers alone can turn the tide of battle, combining his antimatter abilities with Red Stars will make him even more unstoppable. Your first chance to earn Red Stars for Blue Marvel is during the Race to Blue Marvel event. This event will run until the end of the year, so the sooner you collect Red Stars, the better your advantage over the competition.

These Blue Marvel Icons are most likely used to boost our progress throughout the event, which will run from the start of the Blue Marvel Dark Dimension until December 31, 2025, when the event ends. By collecting these Icons, we will be able to earn Red Stars for Blue Marvel. In short, Blue Marvel Icons are used to upgrade Red Stars for this character.

Completion Rewards

As we can see, we will need to complete the entire Saga / Dark Dimension twice. After our first run, we will earn enough shards to recruit Blue Marvel and unlock him at 5 Yellow Stars. Completing the event a second time will provide enough character shards to upgrade him all the way to 7 Yellow Stars.

In addition to character shards, we also receive a large amount of T3 Level 4 and Level 5 Ions, Purple Iso-8 credits, and six Purple Level 3 promotions for each Iso-8 class. From the first run, we will earn promotions for the Controller and Blaster classes; from the second (Timed) run, we will receive them for the Brawler, Protector, and Healer classes.

Character Suggestions

We will provide the best suggestions for each respective section in a balanced way. Meaning, we should have a similar amount of characters for all combat roles. We will also provide the best alternatives, in some cases the balance will remain intact. While in others it can tip slightly into one role. We will try to account for team synergy in each section, so that clearing nodes is not too difficult. All provided characters should be useful in at least one other game mode to warrant the Purple Iso investment.

We also need to pay attention to the combat modifiers, as they’ll help us complete certain missions more quickly. Our recommendations will take this into account and focus on balancing around the three mentioned teams (Fantastic Four (MCU), Insidous Six, and Brimstone) and their members, since they’ll receive the most bonuses during this event. By prioritizing these teams and characters, you’ll maximize your effectiveness and make the most of the event’s advantages.

Mission 1 No Restrictions

Purple Iso-8 Level 4

For this section, it’s best to bring 5 Conquerors and Non-Mythic Cosmic characters, because you’ll be able to use these same characters in the next 4 missions (2 Conquerors and 2 Non-Mythic Cosmic). This approach lets you access more missions with minimal investment at the start of the event.

In fact, a team of 5 Conquerors and Non-Mythic Cosmic characters can participate in the first half of the event’s missions (5 out of 10). So, be sure to review the Conquerors and Non-Mythic Cosmic sections and suggestions, and prioritize upgrading those characters first. This will maximize your progress while using your resources efficiently.

Missions 2 and 3 Conquerors

Purple Iso-8 Level 4 for Mission 2, and Level 5 for Mission 3

Characters with the Conqueror tag include Quasar, Blastaar, and the members of four teams: Fantastic Four (MCU), Hellfire Club, Insidious Six, and Brimstone.

It’s very important to note that only the members of the Fantastic Four (MCU), Insidious Six, and Brimstone teams will receive special bonuses in those 2 Conqueror missions. You can find the details of these bonuses in the table above (see the Combat Mods section on this page). Quasar, Blastaar, and Hellfire Club characters will not get any bonuses.

This fact may influence your team selection, as using characters with event bonuses can make missions easier to complete. However, you can still choose any Conqueror characters based on your available options and upgrade plans.

You may have noticed that we’re recommending only Cosmic Conqueror characters. This is because the next two missions will require Cosmic characters, so by focusing on Cosmic Conquerors now, you’ll gain access to more missions with the least amount of investment. This strategy helps you progress further in the event without overextending your resources.

Missions 4 and 5 Non-Mythic Cosmic

Purple Iso-8 Level 4 for Mission 4, and Level 5 for Mission 5

For missions 4 and 5, our recommendation is to use the same characters you used for the first three missions. This way, you can maximize the value of your initial investments and keep progressing efficiently through the event. Additionally, Fantastic Four (MCU) characters will receive excellent bonuses through Mods in these missions. Using them will give you a significant advantage and make it easier to complete missions 4 and 5 successfully.

Missions 6 and 7 Non-Mythic City

Purple Iso-8 Level 4 for Mission 6, and Level 5 for Mission 7

In this section, Insidious Six characters receive bonuses through Combat Mods, and both Vulture and Shocker gain the Insidious Six tag. The Raid rules also apply here, which means it’s a valid strategy to use the latest Tech Raid team—specifically, the Insidious Six trio, along with Vulture and Shocker.

However, there are also other excellent City characters to consider, especially Blade and the Oath and Vigilante characters. Thanks to the Raid rules active in these missions, the Vigilante team becomes extremely powerful. Their main drawback is that to unlock all their additional (and sometimes crucial) bonuses, you need to use all five members together, which may not be the most flexible choice.

Our general recommendation is to bring three Insidious Six characters, plus Blade and Oath, or possibly Hit-Monkey and Daredevil/Silver Sable. Between those options, Blade and Oath are usually the better picks because they offer stronger sustain for themselves. This setup should give you a solid advantage for these missions.

It’s also a valid option to bring all five Insidious Six characters, as mentioned earlier. Thanks to the Mods that boost them, they will easily be the best team for these missions. So if your goal is to progress through these missions as quickly as possible, a full Insidious Six lineup is the ideal choice.

Missions 8 and 9 Non-Mythic Global

Purple Iso-8 Level 4 for Mission 8, and Level 5 for Mission 9

For this section, it’s best to use four Brimstone characters, since War rules are active and Brimstone is currently the strongest War team in the game. To get the most out of them, you should bring all four Global Brimstone characters. The only exception is Strange (Heartless), who can’t be used here because he’s a Cosmic character, not Global.

For the fifth spot, there are many good options, but we recommend Old Man Logan. Thanks to the War rules, even though he has older stats, he remains incredibly powerful—especially in War scenarios. This team composition will give you the best chance for success in this part of the event.

Mission 10 – No Restrictions

Purple Iso-8 Level 5

In the final mission, there are no restrictions, so you can use all three teams that were used in the previous sections of the Target: Blue Marvel event. This means you’ll have three teams to try and deal as much damage as possible to the Blue Marvel boss each day.

Additionally, as you gather more resources over time, you can upgrade your Mythic characters to Purple Iso-8 Level 5, creating even stronger combinations for the final mission. Professor Xavier, Odin, and Mephisto are good candidates to upgrade next to Iso-8 Purple Level 5.

Conclusion

If you follow our guide and upgrade the characters we’ve recommended, you’ll need to upgrade five Brawlers, four Controllers, three Blasters, two Protectors, and one Support character.

As we mentioned earlier, T3 Iso-8 Orbs are especially important for this process. In this specific case, you’ll want to open mostly Brawler and Controller Orbs, since those are the classes you’ll need the most. This targeted approach will help you gather the right resources and make your upgrades as efficient as possible.

The missions will be structured similarly to the Dark Dimension mode. You’ll face waves of enemies, and if your characters are defeated, their HP will automatically reset the next day, allowing you to pick up right where you left off.
