Tokyo 2099: Shin-Shibuya

Japanese art-style map, something like Hanamura from Overwatch. It’s the Convergence/Hybrid game mode, where you first need to capture the point and then push the payload.

The first part, in which you need to capture the objective, and the last one are the hardest for attackers. There is a choke on both parts, which you need to go through in order to get to the point. Depending on which team comps and characters you are playing, I will advise you on how to go through it.

The first way, that I recommend especially in low ranks is just to take Doctor Strange and teleport your team behind enemy lines, it’s very hard to communicate with a bunch of randoms how to reposition in such a short time.

The second one is that you remember that building on the left side of the attacker side in the choke is destructible and you can go through it and take the left flank and high ground which is very important on every map but especially on this part.

The push part is very straightforward, you have only one flank you can go through so it will depend on team fights a lot.

But the last choke is similar to the first one only it is even harder because the defender spawn is next to the point, that’s why it looks like they are spawning like cockroaches all the time.

The best trick I can give you is to try to push their team when you win fights so they can not regroup and you can have an easier time on the last point focusing them one by one because they need to touch the point fast and gonna panic.

If that doesn’t work, there are two small flanks from both sides that one of the duelists can use to try to make a pick.

Tokyo 2099: Spider-Islands

Map with the same art style but a slightly different game mode. This map is a convoy map where you just push the payload from the start.

The weirdest thing about this map is that even though most of the map feels like a choke you can shoot and get shot from everywhere.

There are a lot of small buildings that you can get above so flying characters like Iron Man and Storm can shoot you from every angle that’s why I recommend them as a pick here.

Rush comps are gonna have a rough time here because it’s hard to control flying characters.
The best advice I can give you on most of this map is to shoot the enemy backline from all the off angles, and there are a lot of them trust me.

The last part of the map is the same as on Shin-Shibuya – very tricky. Only one flank and defending team has the high ground most of the time so I recommend the same thing as I did before push and stagger them the moment u feel advantage and don’t let them regroup on the last point.

The other thing you can do is try to save the ults for that last part if u can and use all of them at the same time.

Yggsgard: Yggdrasill Path

Very beautiful Asgard map, the difference with maps on Asgard is that the buildings you destroy recover after some time.
It’s another convoy map where you push payloads to 3 checkpoints.

The first part has a huge open space but two flanks that people often forget. As an attacker, if you can’t go through the main I highly suggest testing them out.

After you go past the first checkpoint I recommend pushing forward as fast as you can to take two big high grounds and the second part of the map.

The third part is the tricky one, until the end of the map there are not many angles to maneuver through, two small flanks that I suggest to take as fast as possible.

The last part of the map is the hardest, the best way to win it is to put tanks on the payload and keep your distance, take the left high ground, and kill enemies as they spawn while Vanguards contest the payload.

Yggsgard: Royal Palace

Yet another map in Asgard but in domination game mode. It has three very different parts and one important thing to remember is that your ult charge transfers from one to another so don’t use them if u don’t have to.

Bifrost Gardens is a part with a big open space where flying characters should thrive but there is one tricky part, there is not a lot of cover to hide so you are also very vulnerable. After you take the point I recommend pushing to choke that is the same on both sides of the map and try to keep them there as much as you can.

If u are in a situation like this and being held in that small corridor, try characters like Spidey and Venom that can swing off the map and cover great distances in no time so u can avoid the choke point in a couple of seconds and make them push the point and create space for the rest of the team.

Throne Room is an indoor map with two big parts, one on the ground where the point is and the other, where you should keep more attention, high ground where you can see both parts of the map.

I would recommend taking hold of that high ground as much as you can because it’s a lot easier to know what enemies are doing from there and you can shoot the from top.

Also, the map has four entrances from both sides so if you are stuck on one try another.

Odin’s Archive is the weirdest one for sure it has two high-grounds that are connected in the middle of the map but also that bridge can be destroyed.

Here, same as in Bifrost Gardes, the moment you capture the point you should push enemies to spawn because that choke is very hard to go through even for flying characters because the map is closed.
